Sogren Fothec
of the Flintbraid Clan
Description:
A burly dwarf with fiery braids and wild eyes, draped in traditional shaman-wildhammer attire befitting his rank and experience.
Always seems to be a little tipsy and smells ever so slightly of some sort of booze. Regardless he is always coherent though his speech slurs a bit from time to time.
Personality:
Usually light hearted and ready with a laugh or a chuckle. Sogren tends to speak in terms of "we" and "us" when referring to himself, as if there is an unseen second party. Perhaps he means to include his snow owl companion, Harrison Fjord.
Then again, his snow owl isn't always present. He does mention from time to time something about speaking with spirits. Just what sort of 'spirits' is unclear, though he favors dark stouts and lagers.
Titles:
"Warjaw" - Among the Fothec family and those of the Flintbraid Clan that have spent time in Twilight Highlands dealing with the problems that plague that region and its dwarven populace have already or will eventually earn the moniker Warjaw.
Simply denotes one that has seen his "fair share" of battle and hardships in the defense of their lands.
History:
-------------
Flintbraid
-------------
A Dwarf Clan composed of a several different families. Most of them are Bronzebeard by origin and tradition, but they count a few Wildhammer and Dark Iron families among their kindred.
Clansmen are not necessarily related by blood though some do intermarry between clan families. A tradition was established long ago (out of habit that grew into a sign of camaraderie and respect) in which members of the clan refer to each other as brother, sister, sibling, or kin as opposed to the more traditional and formal 'clansman' or 'clansfellow'. The older and wiser among them are honored as Matrons and Patrons of their respective families.
[i]History:
In the aftermath of the struggle for Ironforge, Sogren followed his kinsmen to the great dwarven city in support of their council representative, High Thane Falsted Wildhammer.
Sogren is on a personal quest to connect with the deeper shamanistic traditions of his people while acquainting himself with his deeper dwarven heritage.
He supports himself as an adventurer, traveling from place to place completing various tasks for money and favors. He also supplements this income working as a consultant for the <Ironforge Guard> on all matters related to nature, shamanism, and wildhammer histories.
