It's that time of the year again! The AAMS is pleased to announce the return of the "All Anonymous Merchandise Swap!"
Yes, once again, it's time for the fun of anonymously buying a present for a fellow member of our community!
If you would like to participate this year, all you need to do is sign up on this thread with your name, speak with a member of the AAMS, or send a letter to Derscha or Kezrin by the end of the day November 30th. If you're posting on the forums, it may help to tell us a little about your character to help out with the gift ideas. :)
After we've collected all the names, you'll be mailed a letter with the name of another participant. It'll be up to you to buy that person a present! Meanwhile, someone else will be busy thinking of a gift for you! When you have your gift selected, turn it in to a member of the AAMS and we'll handle the rest.
Please note that this is a cross-faction event, so there's always the possibility you will be giving a gift for (or receiving one from!) a member of the opposite faction.
The AAMS will be delivering gifts starting the first day of Winter's Veil in person and in character whenever possible; any present we have not delivered will be mailed on January 3rd.
Note to ABKS subscribers: Due to the Swap, we will not be accepting any sign-ups for ABKS December. However, those already signed up will still receive a special gift mailed to them at the beginning of the month!

Who may sign up?
Any member of the Cenarion Circle or Sisters of Elune community, Horde or Alliance.
What kind of gift should I buy?
Anything that we can deliver in game! Use your imagination! Don't have a lot of money? Write a poem! Buy a grey and make up an interesting story! This is a roleplaying event. There's no need to break your bank.
That said, this year we will NOT be accepting any Blizzard Store codes for delivery, so please stick to in-game items.
Should I gift wrap my gift?
Due to safety concerns (and game mechanics), please don't wrap your gift. The AAMS will provide complimentary gift wrap when applicable.
I loved my gift! Will you send this back as thanks?

"Okay, listen... glad ya liked your gift. So did everyone else. Liked their own gift, I mean. Not yours. Though it's a nice one, really. I betcha the person who got that gift you sent liked it as well an' wants ta thank ya. So can everyone just assume that everyone likes their gifts an' says thanks? Ya know, instead of doublin' our workload with a buncha return messages?

Timeline:
Now through Dec. 3rd: Accepting sign-ups
December 4th: Letters with names of gift recipients mailed
December 4-13th: Do your shopping! Turn in gifts to the AAMS
December 14th-January 2nd: AAMS will hand deliver gifts
January 3rd: All remaining undelivered gifts will be mailed.
