Ladies and Gentlemen of the Alliance, the Holy Rose Monastery will be hosting an event in July between the fifth and the eleventh. The Rose Tournament is a competition of jousting and swordsmanship, each guild may have a team of three people to represent them. The winning prize is ten thousand gold out of my own pocket, a one hundred gold fee is in place for sign-ups for the teams that will participate.
Jousting is rather simple, defeat your opponent but stay within the confines of the jousting arena near the Argent Crusader's Tent. The team that wins with two victories at the least moves on to the next spot in the bracket, the teams that reach the top three move on to swordsmanship. That means that the second segment of the competition will be duels, same rule applies as it does with the jousting by being the victor from the best two out of three victories.
Day one is all social and feasting, be merry and have a good time before the start of competition on day two. On the last day we will do a memorial ride from Light's Hope Chapel to Uther's Tomb to pay our respects to the founder of the Knights of the Silver Hand.
The prize money will of course be used to help your guild's coffers since we are on hard times. Guild Masters please post in this thread your guild's name and your three champions, the sign-up fee of one hundred gold is not for each individual champion but for the team as a whole. Remember that no matter if you win or lose, you are all champions.
