Who.
<Vanitas>, a guild led by a co-GM force consisting of Malus and Malina/Atris is now recruiting as we progress into the Legion expansion. We are a med RP guild - as we look into other aspects such as small-time PvE and have members knowledgeable in PvP - devoted to having realistic evil RP. We're based around a storyline and weekly RP events, as well as thriving around personal character strife and development.

We believe that most stories need conflict and we wish to be the force behind that conflict. Not only to drive the stories of Protagonist guilds, but to bolster our own storyline, characters, and experiences.

What.
What you can expect from <Vanitas>:
-Weekly RP events
-Friendly management
-Members who believe in fairness in RP
-Balanced conflict RP: Meaning we not only explore and delve into standard /emote RP, but we also cater to those who are more favorable to /rolling for their battles!
-Friendly members who respect Warcraft's lore.
We do -not- run around Stormwind proclaiming our diabolical intentions, but rather converse OOCly with protagonist guilds to drive IC storylines for *everyone*; guild, personal character, and realm.
We also enforce a "no discrimination" policy.

What we look for in members:
Good attitude
-Friendliness
-Fairness (No God-Modding)
-Roleplay
Side note: If you RP something out of the ordinary; such as a furbolg, dragon, grummle, mecha-gnome, etc.; we would love to get a feel for your character and storyline to see if it's compatible with the forces of evil!
Side-side note: Due to the purpose of roleplay and this guild, paladins are accepted on rare case-by-case deals, just to ensure things go smoothly, of course.

The guild leaders had to take a break due to personal reasons but have returned to bring back evil roleplay. Also if any guilds are interested in starting a story we are more than willing to work with you. We love interactions with other guilds and are planning some server events.

Just a note, we'll probably not be as active as we have been in the past. However, that won't stop us from trying create an amazing atmosphere and storyline.

I recently experienced a few days of very rude and aggressive behavior that extended OOC on behalf of a couple of your members.

It's really not a big deal, I'm over it, but please know that this ideal was not being upheld by all parties while you were away.

I'm sorry for the bad experience you had but please if there's any issue especially an ooc one. It's best to message the GMs of the guild which are named at the top of the post.

We do strive for friendliness and do punish parties if proof is forwarded to us.

Just try it.

That feeling when you accidentally erase your TRP and have to start all over. The worst part is honestly where to begin.

Install dropbox or another cloud sync app that will automatically keep revisions of your TRP data file.

Also, since I'm here I might as well say: Vanitas is a really nice guild. I'm not into dark/evil RP, and play good characters, so it's not something I'd want to join. However, my interactions with them IC have been quite good and OOC just as great. The storylines involving them are usually quite complex, engaging, and fun to be a part of. If I did like dark RP I'd join them if only for the kindness and professionalism that Malus has shown me, especially as someone new to the game in comparison (and someone that seems to bug him too often >.>).

There are only two dark/evil RP guilds on the server that I'd readily recommend and Vanitas is one of them. If you want to RP such a character then give them a try.
