Salvation, a level 19, 10/12, 10man raiding guild is looking for more players to go from 10man raids to 25man
Why choose Salvation? We are a fairly well established guild that’s been around for about 3 and a half years already and try to push content when we can. In Burning Crusade we teamed up with other guilds for the 25man raids and dabbled a bit in T6 content. In Wrath of the Lich King we did all content as it was relevant and got as far as 11/12 HM ICC10 and Ruby Sanctum. We’re ready to try our hand at 25man raiding again, but this time with an all in-house group.
We’re a friendly bunch that will give help to those that seek it. We try to do a variety of things together as a group such as heroics, leveling, pvp, and guild events that happen throughout the year, such as a 1v1 pvp tournament, old raids, etc. As much fun as it is to mess around during raids because we’re good friends, we do hope that people understand when it’s appropriate to get serious when approaching new or difficult content. We value quality over quantity and will not just take in any old person just to fill in spots. Please be respectful; know when the time calls for being silly and for being serious and it will take you far with us.
We aren’t hard core raiders in terms of raiding a ton of nights a week for huge chunks of hours at a time, but we do value certain amount of effort put into gear through proper enchants/gems/reforging/specs/glyphs. We expect players to know their class and should they need to; react appropriately to anything that may go wrong or unplanned for in raids. If approached about your performance, do not take it as an affront to you as a person, just know that an issue was recognized and someone is taking time out of their day to make sure you’re doing what needs to be done for the good of the raid group. If you cannot take constructive (never destructive) criticism, please do not bother applying. We’re not going to deal with people whose pride will not allow them to change if they are in the wrong. If you feel you have a right to continue whatever it is there’s an issue with, discuss it like an adult and be convincing.
While we recognize people may need to miss out on raids due to various reasons related to real life, we do expect players to make most, if not all, of the raid times. If there is an issue we hope that we can be told about it as soon as possible so we can make arrangements and adjust.
We currently raid on Tuesday, Thursday, and Monday from 6pm-9pm.
For our 25man, we are currently seeking variety of roles, driven by our desire to have all possible raid buffs and debuffs, and maximize gear distribution. This includes, but is not limited to:
Ranged Dps
Druid – 1 or 2
Hunter – 1 or 2 any spec
Mage – 1 or 2 any spec
Priest** – 1 or 2
Shaman* – not really needed
Warlock** – 2 any spec
Melee Dps
Death Knight** – 1 or 2 any dps spec
Druid** – 1 or 2
Paladin** – 1
Rogue – 1 or 2 any spec
Shaman** – 1
Warrior – 1 or 2 any spec
Tanks*
Tanks of any class aren’t particularly needed, but if any tank capable class is applying with a tank offspec, it is a definite plus for those times where we get crazy and need another tank for whatever reason we come up with.
Healers
Druid* – not needed as we have 2-3 available
Priest** – 1 Discipline
Paladin** – 1 or 2
Shaman – 1
If some of the applicants have decently geared offspecs/sets that they can swap to them when extra tanks/healers/dps are needed, it helps a lot.
*Exceptional applicants will still be considered
**Currently missing representation from this class/spec and will be favored.
