I'm interested in starting a guild with the name Legacy. When I do a search on battle.net nothing shows up for Cenarion Circle. This leads me to believe either it's a bank alt guild or inactive with a few lowbies/inactives in it. Does anyone have any intel on the possibility of this guild name being freed up or who it belongs to? TIA

As far as I know, if you petition a GM and they determine that the guild has been completely unused for some period of time (probably 30 days with no activity whatsoever) they will probably free up this name for you.
They are incredibly strict on the requirements for a name release, however, so I would start thinking about alternatives now.

Thx for the tip, Surehoof. I tried the ticket/GM route already and was politely told "no" (in many more words than that :)). Strict, yes - understandably. I'm hoping to get a lead. I'm also thinking of other names too, but keeping my fingers crossed. :)
