Seeking Blacksmith w/ Brainsplinter
My guess for the lack of a crafter is not because no one has the pattern and/or no one has the orbs, but because unless you're willing to offer thousands of gold per orb, the crafter loses a lot of revenue for using their orbs on someone else's mats than just making the weapon themselves and selling it.
For example, I crafted a few weapons for a fee of 350g per orb a week ago, which bagged me 1750g per craft. Later in the week I bought 8 truegold from the AH for about 800g each, went mining for half an hour to get the hardened elementium, and made the two-handed sword. The sword for about 20k, and I got about 19k in my pocket after AH deductions. So I sank in about 6400g + hardened elementium, (and the inconsequential ocean sapphires) which let's just say costs 150g each. That's a 7k investment for a 19k return, for a profit of 12k. You would have to offer at least say 1500g per orb for me to feel your offer is good (since your offer has no risk, whereas making the sword and trying to sell it at a high price does come with a risk).

Yea, I'm aware that crafters stand to make a lot of money with these weapons since the patch. Still, not all blacksmiths spend their playtime turning profit on the AH and I guess I'm looking for the right kinda folk looking to do a fellow wow player a solid. My tip won't match 12k but I still expect to have to dump thousands on it. I have no blacksmithing characters and I'm trying my best to get the weapon made for my rogue alt.
I'd also like to offer my tanking services to any dps that would be willing to commit any orbs won to crafting my dagger. I know they are a lot harder for damage dealers to come across because of q times. I would still be offering a lot of gold too <3
