Hi!

Hello Cenarion Circle, I am Zulkinax of Windrunner. After alot of comptemplation I decided to roll an alliance Deathknight and try my hand at role playing through a video game. Fyi, this is not easy.

For one Im so used to rping a troll/blood elf male that getting into A(female and B(alliance mindset is kind of a big undertaking. I've even tried leveling a worgen but after failing at immersing myself in the gold and blue so many times the opening questline has gotten boring.

Wheres all the rp at? I brought my warrior Frugen here awhile back and couldn't get anything Horde side, and I'm having just as much trouble -if not more- finding it alliance. Now theres deffinately more people with MRP up Alli side but getting anything rolling is a bit of a hassle.

I believe my problem at large isnt that I dont understand the lore, its that I have so little experience implementing the lore in my characters. I've been a tabletop role player for almost 5 years now and being stuck a state away from my usual group has left WoW my only alternative.

If anyone could give me some advice on what guild to look for or who to ask for guidance I'd appreciate it very much.

Horde side is mostly intra-guild and event based RP, you have to check around for when and where events are happening.

Aliiance side is mostly small RP at select locations and event based RP. A bit goes on at the Cathedral, but the biggest hotspot is the Blue Recluse in Mages Quarter.

Check out this thread here ( http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1072437309 ) for more event information.

Join allianceooc and hearthstoneic to get to know people. I can't help you with the playing a female nelf since I can't play a convincing male to save my life.

The Recluse usually has some rpers around and if you emote something or strike up a conversation, most people will respond.

Saturday Pia Presidium will most likely have a knighting ceremony. We only administer vows to members, but the ceremony is open to the public as is the trial by arms later. Sunday is the box social on both alliance and horde side. Monday is Troubadour Night. Tuesday is the Feathers Inn at Booty Bay. Wednesday is the sermon in the gazebo behind the cathedral. Thursday is the AAMS Caer Darrow project.

Azeroth College and Shiftingsands Trading Company are open to new rpers. Most guilds will try to help newcomers.

Horde side your best bet is to join the channels and get to know people and contact some guilds like Homeland, Ishnu, AAMS etc.

I don't have problems finding rp, but I sort of create it where I go. Contact Pia people in game if you want to just hang around. They will introduce you to others.

If you want to try for Hordeside again, also, you should /join hordeooc and hearthstone

It can be tough to find RP on the Horde, but it IS there and the best way to make more of it is to RP more! Alliance side there is always either RP happening or people willing to Rp -- you just have to ask on the channels!
