85 Undead Warlock

This thread needs some Horde love. I'm here to bring it some evil, drippy undead love. =)

In-Game Name: Sadrine

In-Game Faction: Horde

Race: Undead

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation:
Sadrine is a senior researcher at The Royal Apothecary Society.

Alignment, with a short explanation:
Mainly chaotic neutral - her affiliations have been many outside of the RAS, and her sense of loyalty extends only as far as her self-interest is concerned. Looking for test subjects and souls to experiment with, mainly of the Alliance persuasion.

Additional Notes:
A family woman and alchemist on the surface, below it Sadrine is fiercely loyal to a select few members of an unsavory crowd, and Sylvanas. It has been rumored that she worked with Grand Apothecary Putress, however charges were dismissed, and the file subsequently destroyed. Her research areas are wide and varied, ranging from simple headache cures, to illicit drugs, to deadly poisons. Stop on by for some Espresso, the unscrupulous alchemist is in.

In-Game Name: Zevix
(which you can be contacted via):

In-Game Faction: Alliance

Race: Human

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation: Himself. The legion through virtue (haha) of being a warlock.

Alignment, with a short explanation: Neutral Evil. He does evil things without regard for rules, but also doesn't do it to spread chaos. He does eit all for his own power.

Additional Notes: Fancies himself a scientist, has done experiments with grafting demon parts to people, always resulting in horrific failures. Doesn't stop him from trying again and again. He lost his tower in the Shattering, and has holed up in his underground la-bor-a-tor-y.

91 Night Elf Druid
7055
In-Game Name: Sumac

In-Game Faction: Alliance

Race: Kaldorei

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation:
Twilight Cult. Low-ranking member, mostly because of her tendency to be a loner and her bizarre take on what Azeroth should be like after it is reshaped by the Old Gods.

Alignment, with a short explanation:
Neutral Evil with Lawful Evil tendencies. Any member of an organized group has to have some lawful tendencies, or they won't stay in that organization for long. Sumac is obedient to her superiors out of training rather than out of natural tendency.

Additional Notes:

-Full name is Ymandriel Moonglaive.

-She is a former Ashenvale Sentinel, and would likely be recognizable to any Night Elf Sentinel from that area.

-When female druids became more common, she elected to train as a druid in order to regrow the forests of Ashenvale, which had fallen victim to the Orcs. She did not prove terribly gifted as a druid, but that did not stop her from associating with the Cenarion Circle.

-High-ranking Cenarion Circle members may recognize her, as may any druids who were involved in the restoration of southern Darkshore after the Shattering.

-She is wanted in Kaldorei lands for assisting in the reawakening of Soggoth the Slitherer and undermining the Cenarion Circle.

-Though the events of Stormrage, in which the Nightmare touched Azeroth as a whole, were what finally caused Sumac's mind to snap, her sheer focus and discipline tend to give the impression that she is sane. She isn't. She mourns for the loss of Ashenvale's forests, bemoans how little the Alliance did to save the trees, and wholeheartedly believes every living thing on Azeroth should burn in order to make way for a new Azeroth populated entirely by her beloved plants.

-She may or may not be based on Poison Ivy.

-She applied the nickname 'Poison Sumac' to herself only when she joined the Twilight Cult, as a symbol of her desire to become a full-fledged Druid of the Nightmare. She often believes, comically, that non-Cultists should recognize this name. She is frequently disappointed when they don't.

-Though her attacks are mostly oriented on crowd-control through dangerous plant magic (caustic/blinding sap, blinding/sleep-inducing/hypnotizing spores, briars or roots, plant allies summoned from the Nightmare), she is also known for offensive attacks. These latter, however, require her to attack from stealth in order to have the upper hand.

-Her ability to heal through magic is clumsy at best. If she is asked to heal, she does it through combat first-aid and herbal training she received as a Sentinel.

This character is under construction! If I have flubbed any lore details, send me a tell or mail me in-game with suggestions. Thank you!

Updated to reflect recent additions.

Also, glad we got our first Horde-side entry - it was lookin' pretty barren over there.

This thread could potentially be used as a networking tool for antagonists, as well. See someone with a similar alignment/affiliation, and strike up some role-play with them and begin something you would've normally not have had the chance to do.

58 Dwarf Warlock

Antagonist

In-Game Name: Thullena

In-Game Faction: Alliance

Race: Dark Iron Dwarf

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation: The Dark Iron Clan.

She wishes to kill Moira and her son, along with the Council of the Three Hammers, and restore the Dark Iron throne to true, Dark Iron blood, rather than having an emperor with the blood of a Bronzebeard.

Alignment, with a short explanation: Lawful Evil.

She wishes to gain power through controlling portions of the Dark Iron government, and eventually restore order to the clan. She does what she must to win, though she is very official and orderly about it. She doesn't make a mess unless it's unavoidable.

Additional Notes: I'll basically be an antagonist in any Dwarven plot involving Dark Irons.

Thullena probably wouldn't get involved in say, Lordaeron shenanigans.

In-Game Name:
Lilith

In-Game Faction:
Horde

Race:
Forsaken

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation:
A bitter necromancer who had once allied herself with the Lich King, Lilith slunk back into obscurity once Arthas fell to the combined strength of the Alliance and the Horde. She now works willingly with the Twilight’s Hammer Cult, hoping with all of what is left of her heart that the Light, love, and life will finally be snuffed out.

Alignment, with a short explanation:
Chaotic evil.

Additional Notes:
Though Lilith is of low level, I would be more than happy to RP an antagonist for my Horde buddies, as long as I am allowed a little bit of leeway!

For those seeking an Antagonist

In-Game Name:
Writhetongue
Verat
Sleech

In-Game Faction:
Horde

Race:
Undead

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation:
Horde: Verat serves as one of a small group of newly appointed unit commanders, whom draw their rank and file from the disenfranchised (convicts, disowned nobility, exiles) of the Horde's societies. In short, his unit is forged from prisoners and convicted felons, whom have been given the choice of life imprisonment, death by execution, or exile on pain of death. Possessing no stalwart loyalty to the Horde or its affiliates, his ambition and personal goals drive him to advance within its military structure, though to what ends not even his peers can truly say.

Twilight Hammer: Verat, having served in the Twilight Highlands campaign, took an avid interest into arcane perversion conducted by the Twilight Hammer on organic and non-organic beings and structures. He also became enamored with some of their unique methods and tools of interrogation, which has lead him to form tenuous ties with elements within and outside of Horde territory, so that he might learn to crate and use them; if not outright acquire such "toys".

Cult of the Damned: A former commander in the Scourge, like his peers in Archerus, Verat has kept loose ties to a sub-section within the remaining dregs of the Cult of the Damned; which is composed of anti-Horde Forsaken that have lost faith in Sylvanas' leadership. He has already manipulated the group into conducting a suicide spellfire attack on the Undercity market, which injured 12 non-undead and killed 5. However, he still has further if self-destructive use for these blind zealots.

Alignment, with a short explanation:
Evil or Unaligned.

Verat sits within a gray area, where he doesn't necessarily go out of his way to enact suffering on those whom do not fall within the "foe" category for him, however, he is perfectly willing to abuse any sign of weakness. He plays within the rules of the Horde's laws and edicts when it suits him, caring not whether it harms or aids the public, so long as it can be used to maximize his personal gain. He supports these structures with undaunted loyalty, so long as it does not hinder his freedom or power. Especially if they involve slaver, rigid castes, or generally provide him power at the expense of others' freedom.

Additional Notes:
~Has no moral barrier preventing him from ordering the killing of unarmed citizenry, women, children, or elderly.

~Affiliations with the Undercity terrorist organization, Specter of Wrathgate and Horde-based Twilight Hammer groups are not apparent or known by any other than himself at the moment.

~Is known to keep a meat locker, where the choicest limbs of his personal victims and foes are kept as trophies.

~Is seeking to forge a network within the Alliance.

ANTAGONIST
In-Game Name:
Dloin
If your character has done his/her research, you'll know his surname is Stonehammer.
...If you've REALLY done your research, you'll also know he has gone by the psuedo-surnames of Steeleye or Turtleback.

In-Game Faction:
Alliance

Race:
Dwarf

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation:
Formerly affiliated with the Explorers' League, and was most recently a pirate captain.

Alignment, with a short explanation:
Chaotic Good or Chaotic Neutral. While this may seem limiting as an atagonist, the Chaotic part would make him the perfect counter to, say, a Paladin, perhaps?

Additional Notes:
Dloin has a modest reputation about him, largely in part due to his aforementioned career as a pirate captain. He has stolen, he has committed arson and fraud. He is a nice guy at his core, but he will do what he must to keep himself fed and to keep those closest to him well-protected. While my game-time isn't the most reliable, I would love to set up some antagonistic RP with others.

Please note that I'd also love Dloin to be placed as a Protagonist, under the idea that he has committed crimes in his past, and these crimes have undoubtedly affected others. I'm extremely open to random RP with people who intend to confront Dloin for what he has done. While the Dwarf tries to stay hard-to-find, I would love to set something up is someone else is willing. Just message me in-game or via mail.

Alignment, with a short explanation:

Additional Notes:

45 Human Hunter

In-Game Name:
(which you can be contacted via)

Thorodian.

In-Game Faction: Alliance.

Race: Human.

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation: Thorodian is loosely affiliated with the twilight cult through the eyes of old. Not truly being evil but simply deluded, Thorodian still despises the Burning legion and scourge, for ravaging the fair kingdom of Lordaeron which he still holds loyalty to.

Alignment, with a short explanation: Lawful evil. Being a noble of Lordaeron, Thorodian believes that the only way that the kingdom can truly be restored is if all the taint and corruption upon Azeroth is wiped away by the "Purifying" hand of the Old Gods.

Additional Notes: If you are a noble of Lordaeron, you might know him. He is also a wealthy benefactor to the church and a philanthropist.

I was trying to indicate the added information you supplied concerning what he's known as.

Edit: I can get rid of it, if you'd like.
