Antagonist, or Seeking Antagonist
In-Game Name: Amyren
In-Game Faction: Alliance
Race: Kaldorei
Affiliation: Trained under Fandral's Cenarian Circle, but more invested in the Wardens, now being a junior rank. Has run with a number of independent mercenary groups, most of all the Society of Shadows under Lord Mesphala. Helps many, but ultimately serves herself.
Alignment: Simply Neutral, but has run the range in her life/((gameplaytime)). She's disciplined and thrives in order, but breaks rules and boundaries almost whimsically to accomplish goals. Generally a good spirit to her friends, but has no qualms leaning towards Evil if she decides it is for the best. The cognitive dissonance wears on her at times, which makes her outwardly seem very passive.
Additional Notes:
-A strong fighter and an intelligent druidess. Amyren Autumnlight these days is better known for her famed family healing skills and contributions to the Hyjal front than she is for her time serving and eventually leading the old contract business organization, The Society of Shadows, years past. This creates conflicting reports if research is done on her, as both her crimes and heroic acts done in Alliance territory are many. She's been seen standing firm beside all honorable and unsavory types, though rarely other druids. Her reputation on Kalimdor is more positive and honorable, if full of gaps, performing duties more in line with the Circle and recovering Wardens, though the Sentinels did bring her before a tribunal once for an act of murder that she was ultimately able to justify.
-Despite her seemingly mercenary and secular nature, Amyren Autumnlight is a better druidess than administrator, though she never advertises such. Half of her time and energy is spent researching her interests in druidic magic and theory, the Emerald Dream and Nightmare, and the spirits and elements. Her druidic practices and philosophy are closer in outlook to the Grimtotem and Taunka Shamans than the more nurturing and passive Cenarian method, which other druids or shamans may pick up on with concern. She researches and experiments more like an objective scientist, and after reading a forbidden confiscated text meant to be burned(A cheap hardcover print of the Royal Apothacary Society's 'Basic Anatomy of the Not-As-Intelligent Races'), she prefers that method of thinking, and her magic in healing and harm have improved in odd and different ways. It is because of that and more personal reasons that she does not relate as easily to her fellow druids, out of mild concern of being cast as a corrupt heretic.
-RPers seeking to incorporate Amyren could tie her in through unanswered wrongs, strange magic experiments, large thefts and dark acts she may or may not have committed in the past, whether as part of her organization or on her own. The Society of Shadows may now be defunct, but the guild has had a long history since the early days of MG, through Mesphala and herself, and never once has Amyren Autumnlight hid her identity in anything she's done. But as Amyren says and assumes, "Few people know or care about me these days. Probably for the best." Investigators, Sentinels, Guardsmen, Wardens, Druids, angered Spirits and even other Criminal or Mercenary types invested in economy can eventually trace numerous murders, tortures, property damages and other crimes to Amyren, and Amyren apologizes for none of it.
