Hi,
I am interested in forming a serious RBG group that plays on a weekly basis to try to work up to 1800+ rating. The following are what I am looking for in order to make a good team (all roles listed below are assumed to be filled by competent people, of course):
(In no particular order)
1) Prot warrior flag carrier with arms spec for base games
2) Holy paladin healer
3) Frost death knight
4) Sub rogue
5) Frost mage
6) Affliction warlock
The next few are nice-to-haves, but not as essential as the ones listed above:
1) A second warlock/mage/rogue
2) Resto shaman/disc priest
3) A second holy paladin
4) Boomkin
5) Hunter, preferably BM/MM for base/flag games
Of particular value are people who can play multiple roles listed above on different characters, and are competent on each of said characters. This will be very helpful in allowing flexibility in group composition. For example, I myself have a prot/arms warrior, a holy paladin, and a frost death knight available to play for any of the positions listed above.
Mainly I am looking for people who believe they can play RBGs at a progression level, and it's not always easy to provide proof of said skill especially on new characters/alts, so I am more than willing to chat with each individual and figure stuff out. Leave a line here or message me in game if you have questions.
If your class/spec is not listed above, don't let that dissuade you... a good player always trumps comp. However, I do expect people to play the 'correct' spec in the sense that they should reference top players and their choice of spec, and not just play a spec because they feel like it (for example, I don't see any combat rogues on the top of any ladder, so it's fairly safe to assume it's not a very viable rogue spec... but it seems that all three mage specs exist on the top of various ladders, so it would be acceptable to have non-frost mages, but less acceptable to have non-subtlety rogues)
