Love and clarity

The priestess walked over to the human sitting by the moonwell, her face clearly showing looks of wonder and amusement. This particular human had been known to visit the Temple of the Moon from time to time, and often displayed a fervor towards Elune that was highly uncharacteristic for one of both her race and her path in life. This time, however, she looked far more serene and at peace.

"Dear lady, my apologies, but I have often seen you here, and then with such a look to your person that you appeared distressed, even relieved. Today I sense the goddess has done something special in your life?"

"Indeed, priestess. My heart today has found another to rest with, and things are most enjoyable. I came to offer the goddess my thanks for this, her latest of many blessings to me."

"The goddess is glad that you have come to this place and made your act of thanks, but she... I... have wondered why."

"Ah, you ask why I do not offer prayers in one of my own cathedrals? The Light, yes, I hold to its philosophy of the virtues, and am thankful for its deeds and presence, but it was Elune who has been my strength and shield ever since I have reawakened into this world. It is also she who has found the heart I long for and returned this wayward son back into the arms of her people."

The priestess immediately understood that Vanressa spoke of one of the Highborne. Confusion gave way to fear and distrust, but the solemnity and tranquility of the Temple and the joy radiating from Vanressa could give pause to even the most hardened heart.

"How unusual. How very fortunate as well. The one you pursue, does he find room in his heart for the goddess as well?"

"I would hope so, for we both plan to be wed here in Darnassus, in the presence of the goddess, this place, and the priests. We have found that our hearts can conquer much together, but we also know that we are alive and well because of blessings from on high."

"Then make your preparations, and in a month's time, we shall bind you into a union."

Vanressa nodded at the priestess, and then returned her gaze to the moonwell. For the first time, she no longer stared blankly into its waters. She no longer saw a shimmering pool of arcane energies. She understood why she was in the temple and had been drawn to this place for so long.

"Keyesh... it finally makes sense now."

So much has happened in his life, he sighs softly as he sat there upon his home in Darnassus. Gazing upon the outside in a better light, he remembered the flashes of his past vividly for the book did some damage to him, reminding him of his deeds so long ago. The very thing that made him so distance from his people; he realized all of those deeds were not his fault and how could they blame him for the past deeds? He only did what was necessary to survive the war. He remembered how he got a hold of the Queens book as well. The image was clear in his mind as if it happened yesterday. Keyesh sighed as he brushed his hair soothingly through his white mane hair, he looked upon his own reflection as he noted his pale skin frail body.

Flash back-
During the chaos during the sundering when the dragons fought each other and fought Deathwing, amongst the confusion and conflict within the Palace, the Queen had left her chambers. Keyesh snuck in her room to search for the black book that she used to summon the demons within there world and the same book which corrupted her in the first place. He moved in grabbed hold of the black leather book, and stuffed it inside his pouch as he walked off. He watched as several soldiers walked out of the room where at one point held prisoner of the most importance Tryande, he moved out along with her sneaking past several soldiers including fel guards, who seemed more intent on destroying everything in sight as they ignored him walking past he manage to slip by and escape…

End of flash back-

Keyesh sighed softly starring into the sky as he thought about that event in his life that forever changed him. He paced back and fourth some, the book was finally destroyed he said softly to himself. He stroked his beard softly ‘’ So much has changed ‘’ he repeated to himself, he turned and gazed upon a photo of him and his fiancé Vanressa and smiled thoughtfully to himself thinking about her , remembering the first day he met her, and how her presence changed his life dramatically and he knew then she would be the one for him. As if some great burden has lifted from his past life he felt finally relived and happy for the first time, now he can focus on the one thing that meant more then anything. He places the photo back gently as he walked out of the house

The soldiers and sentinels alike even the elders who remember him from the days past, noted the change in his attitude some even manage to approve of it. To his mild surprise some of the Elders saluted Keyesh in the at most respect and he did wonder have they forgiven him for his past deeds? He had to know the answer to them and he thought about it and finally came to the conclusion was a yes. Now was to prepare for the wedding and the union, he had thought of several people who could possibly do it to contact them is the question…

In her revelry and celebrating the holiest day of the dwarven year, alive with the great spirits of the ale elementals coursing through her veins, Brenri joyfully sprouted flames from her finger tips. Sadly, one such tongue landed on the stack of invitations for a certain wedding, invitations she was supposed to be taking to the central mailbox in Ironforge.

"Och... well... maybe I can find a scribe or something. We need t'have th'wedding before the bad weather sets in anyhoo. Aye, that and I can surely send out more invitations and really give th'happy couple a surprise."

Aloft on the winds of her high altitude homeland, Brenri ran with as much grace as could be expected of a lass with thighs the size of small tree trunks. Not surprisingly, she was far more upright and lucid than many of her fellow folk of the mountain, and whizzed past rambling crowds of drunken brawls and laughter. At last she came before the arcanery in the district of the Great Forge and tried her best to communicate with the sober gnome proprietor.

"A set of invertashuns madam? Yes, we can have these ready for you. I would suggest sending invitations instead though. HEE HEE HEE!"

Brenri just kept her mouth open trying to comprehend the joke and then simply smiled and pulled one of the remaining invitations from her braids.

"Quite the talent you have. What sort of device do you use to braid so much storage space into your hair?"

"I dinnae know. I think it was just the AquaGnome hair spray m'man Timeus suggested to me long ago. Grand stuff really, waterproof, climate controlled, even... aye, I keep m'frogs in there when I go flying."

"I see. How truly horrible. Now, about these invitations..."

"Aye?"

"As you know, we handled the last batch for that Vanressa lady of yours, and she left us explicit instructions regarding the guest list. I see here that you wish to disregard such things?"

"Aye! What's a party if only one or two entire clans show up?"

"Madam! Well... it is up to you I suppose. I did notice that she had a few names listed here with skulls and void ink scrawled over them. I wager she would not want them invited."

Brenri put on a red colored monacle to better read the names, and after squinting and trying her best to read, she took far more amusement in the various notes and pictures drawn by certain names.

"Better invite them all. No need to let a few past insults and bickering scare us out of a grand old wedding brawl. Ah heh... she really hates Cyrus. Unless three burning skulls means love."

With that, she slammed a bag full of gold on the table, along with several choice gems. She need the work done quickly, and knew full well that a good tip can mean the difference between wedding and mere mixer.

Come one and all at 7pm server on the 30th of this month to the wedding! This includes Horde, we could always use a good fight to make Darnassus more interesting.

Arlston began seriously boarding up his mailslot at the SI:7 barracks. Especially now that another letter sat there, slightly stained with ale...

It had always been empty from the first year, after all, he had nobody who cared for him, nobody concerned about how he was doing, and he had nobody who KNEW him. And he would've kept it that way. Nobody wanted to get to know a man who danced with death every time he stepped outside the barracks. A man who would die suddenly and be forgotten the next day.

But now, ever since the Pillar had recruited him, he was forced into situations he was always uncomfortable. Weddings, just another word for a large social gathering and raucous activities. Arlston sighed slightly, keeping his face perfectly emotionless.

"I...guess...I have...security...overwatch."

There would be no celebration for him. He had dedicated his life so others could be happy.
This wedding would go off without a hitch, even if he had to shed blood to do it.

Vanressa tossed and turned in her sleep as she endured what seemed to be one night after the next full of nightmares and the faces that she had left behind to embark on this new life. Most disturbing of all, she kept seeing Venyn. Clearly she was far from being over him, even if their worlds now seemed to be extremely distant. Keyesh had seemed so appealing to her, so much like what she had wished Venyn could have been had he not chosen to follow a darker path and cast off most of the former vestiges of his life in the Alliance.

In her dream she walked through the valleys of Orgrimmar and walked with apprehension past the orcish guards that used to be a common sight in her life. She saw trolls selling trinkets, tauren conversing with one another, and... green, oozing, decrepit fingers.

She awoke in a cold sweat, and found that her condition was very much that of a woman alive, and that she rested in a bed in the Exodar. This relief would be short lived, as she found her thoughts racing.

"Why will the Fellowship not offer us a priestess for the wedding?"

"Why does Keyesh constantly get surprised in public by various women claiming to have... known him?"

"Why... do I still dream about such things...?"

Reaching into her satchel, she pulled out a small flowerpot with a totem jammed into some dirt contained within it. The totem was a little bit of help from Brenri, given so that she might get some sleep. It had numerous frogs etched on the sides, and a note attached that she had not yet read. She opened it and came across a short message from Keyesh:

"You will know when you are ready."

He was not angry with her for calling off the wedding, but they both knew that it was not an easy thing to do.

The totem began to softly ribbit and croak like a frog, and a half smile came across her face as she fell asleep again beneath the dimmed crystals of the inn room.

Pacing back and fourth in his room in Darnassius he cursed the fates silently to himself, for the burden he must now face. He worried for his fiancé that much was certain his powers have diminished entirely for that reason alone, and Maethi wanted him to go to Dire Maul or he had volunteered to journey with him, to see the old Highborne kingdom so long ago. He only been there once before journeyed with the Fellowship of Teldrassail. He hoped also he can regain his power upon his journey away from the city life for awhile; he needed to aid his friend in this journey to get into the city. Not entirely sure what awaits him there last time he was there; there were Ogres, Demons Elementals roaming the city loose. He moved about packing his stuff for the journey.

He pulled out a scroll and he wrote a note to Vanressa as it contains to where he is going if she ever needed him.

Dear Van,

I shall be journeying to Diremaul one of the oldest Kingdoms of the Highborne race with Maethi my Gnome friend, Do know this you are in my heart as I venture off with him. I know things haven’t been perfect and I understand this need for this break. Do know that I love you and you’re the only women I love and that no other women can do what you have. Weather you realize this or not we are bounded by each other weather by fate or destiny I know you question a lot of things that of course is normal for mages such as us. I know you wonder about these other women who claim they know me, yes they do know me some of them and no I have no feelings for them as I have you, they have not won my heart or soul as you have. As far as the Fellowship not aiding us upon our day we were suppose to be married I could not tell you if you like I will try to arrange a meeting with the leader and make him explain it in person to us or have one of the members explain it. Just know that when I return I shall make every effort to find us a Priestess for when the time comes I know Genevra will still perform it when I call upon her at any given time. I shall be off now to join my friends in this adventure, this one last adventure.
Who knows maybe upon this adventure I shall meet a Priestess who be willing to aid us let us hope at anyrate.

Signed
Keyesh

With this he folded up the scroll and sent it magically to wherever Vanressa was located, and he hoped that she would find it, he sighed as he moved out of his home to go meet up with his friends for this adventure.

((Rather than elope, Vanressa and Keyesh have decided to have their wedding this Monday at SIX server (yeah, I forgot about Troubadour Night) in the Twilight Grove in Duskwood. You know, the place where AAMS held that awesome party.

There might be pvp involved, but in the event that some interesting folks from the Horde pay a visit, well, those who want some action will already be flagged, and those who do not will be blue and have made their way through the clamoring mobs to safety.

This can be as serious as you want to make it. For world pvp that is rp related, I do not wear resilience gear myself, but you are welcome to do so.

Following the wedding, anyone not severely wounded/Horde is invited to Pia's troubadour night, as usual. Van and Keyesh were cheap and did not want to pay for a reception!))

Frog in hand, Brenri sat on a stump by Stormwind lake and debriefed everyone in her confused band about what had happened the night before.

"So, Van an' Keyesh got married."

Tyranna covered her face with her palm as she laughed, clearly unable to express a feeling tantamount to the combination of rage and riotous laughter that she was experiencing at this statement. Vindican looked over at Solarclaw enjoying the company of Pia across the lake and considered going for a swim. Timeus sat dumbstruck looking at the crazy dwarf he somehow managed to call a leader.

"...aye. Anyhoo, as we found out, Van had never made her way into th'wakin' world afore this Izmeda Firebrew managed t'take a wee bit of a joyride in her body. I mean, aye, it explains a bunch, from th'way she talked about huntin' down folks an' stickin' em on pikes t' how she tried t' <interrupted by the wind> with Cyrus an'... well it goes on. I suppose I should stop explaining."

Tyranna sent buttercup closer to the frog in an attempt to get Brenri back on track.

"Aye, so th'horde folks never showed up! It seemed Izmeda was t'use them t'make a clean escape, but she managed t'steal enough energy from the gathered party anyway. We suspect she is probably tryin't'figure out how to get her body out of that bucket in the vault in Ironforge."

Keyesh walked over to the befuddled group to offer his best account of what tranpsired in private afterwards. It turned out that Timeus and a few others were able to find where the Vanressa body had been taken, and managed to infuse her proper spirit back into it. Sadly, the actual Vanressa had no memories of the past year at all, and even the jumpstart that Timeus' machine could provide her did little to encourage Keyesh. Van and he retreated to Dalaran after to discuss the situation, and after much soul searching decided not to break apart, but to take things slowly. Van, after all, retained the memories of what Izmeda had done in her body, and at least knew of his love for her. She was touched, and did not want to hurt him even more.

"Aye, so... lets respect Van's need fer privacy, an' see what we can do t'stop this Dark Iron ninny."
