Hello everyone! I am considering a transfer to an RP realm and I have a few questions regarding Cenarion Circle.

1. What is the Alliance:Horde ratio here? I checked WowCensus but I'm not convinced that their numbers are up-to-date.
2. How often does Alliance win TB?
3. How active is the RP community? Is there a lot of random RP or is it mostly confined within guilds?
4. Would you say that the players on this server are more mature compared to an average server?
5. What is the state of PuGs Alliance-side? Are there a lot of PuGs for old content for 'mogging purposes?
6. Can anyone recommend any cool RP events? I believe I saw something about RP classes...

I've looked through the forum here and it seems that there are some interesting personalities and guilds. I'm hoping to find a good home for myself and potentially some friends of mine.

1. Edit: Census has us at 85% Alliance 15% Horde, but also says there's too little Horde data for it to be valid. (like you said) And I don't play Horde enough to know the real answer there.

2. It's a little more than 50/50

3. Alliance is filled with lots of Random RP... from the Blue Recluse, to the Cath district to the Pig and Whistle it's there. Most rp happens in SW but people do branch out and try to get out in the world and RP as much as we can.

4. This server is filled with players who don't let IC interfere with OOC and vice versa. That's the mark of an excellent rp community

5. As far as old content I've seen hit and miss raids and runs advertised.

6. What day? Right now we're looking at Tues - Friday with steady RP events. What are you looking for? It's out there.

I'm not much help in regards to pvp or population ratios, but I've been playing an RP character for merely a week, yet Aluzon's made a handful of good and reliable friends.

The numbers probably aren't up to date, because there isn't enough Horde data coming in. This said, the Alliance outnumbers the Horde on this realm by a considerable margin.

Both. There are weekly events (more Alliance side than Horde side right now) that occur reliably, and there are also guild stories, sometimes insular, sometimes in conjunction with other guilds. Our RPers here get along quite well with each other most of the time.

"Average server" is probably something only Blizzard could likely come close to quantifying, but I can say that most of the asshattery is usually confined to Trade in the evenings and on weekends, largely when the kids are home from school. There are, of course, immature adults as well as younger people, but if we're shooting for a broad generalization here, that's easiest to go with.

I've been seeing more stuff popping up in Trade since Blizzard announced transmogrification.

Conclave runs a fun event every week called "The Light & You", a sermon-style RP opportunity. In terms of being IC, a long-time (possibly the oldest on the realm) RP guild called Lluchduu Ocheliad "owns" the Blue Recluse in the Mage Quarter in Stormwind, and a lot of RP happens there. The AAMS (Anytime Anywhere Messaging Service), which has both Horde and Alliance branches to facilitate cross-faction transportation, communication and translation, holds a weekly event at their new headquarters out at Caer Darrow.

Horde side, the only common, reoccurring event I'm personally aware of are the Clinics run in Orgrimmar by Da Doctas. There might be one or two more, but I'm unaware of them.

Hop in, type /join allianceooc (or if you're going Hordeside, type /join hordeooc), and interact with the community, and you'll learn all sorts of neat stuff and meet some generally cool people while you're at it.

Zaium owns the Blue Recluse... he happens to be in the Ocheliad, but they don't actually have any claim on the tavern. As such, it may not be the safest place for enemies of the Ocheliad to go but so long as you're not on Zaium's bad side you're fine. (And that's why that's an important distinction. :P)
