I know I know, this is just another recruitment thread... So what stands us apart from everyone else...
First, our guild has been around since WoW started. Most everyone in the guild has been with us for 5+ years. Unfortunately, due to real life, growing up, babies, wives, college, doctorate degrees and falling 40ft from a scafford (without using pally bubble), some of our guildies have moved on...
Our raids are generally successful. We've completed 7/7 in Firelands and usually finish most bosses in each cycle before the big nerfs come along.
We are looking for the following classes for our guild
Paladin - Ret/Holy
Druid - Balance/Resto
Death Knight - DPS
Mage
Warlock
Rogue
Raid Times
Monday and Tuesday ---- 4:30 Server Time to 7:30 Server Time
(6:30 CST - 9:30 CST)
Our guildies are predominantly on the East Coast/Central time zone areas
Guild/Raid Rules
We roll on everything. If you need it, roll need, otherwise roll greed. We sell BoEs and split the profits. We do not tolerate loot !@#$%s or "OMG I have to have that" attitudes.
Who are we looking for?
1. We typically bring the player, not the class. Of course, we can't have a raid with 10 druids, so we are trying to bring some diversity of course.. That being said, if you are the right type of player, we'll work with you. If you decide halfway through and expansion that you want to swap mains, we'll help you out. Again, we need want someone who will fit in...
2. We need someone who understands they are joining a guild build of people who've been together for years. We know each others name IRL, most of us have met etc. We are genuine friends. It's tough to come in and fit in right away, but we know that the right player(s) can do so. We are set in our ways, but that doesn't mean we're not able to change :)
3. Don't come in with a greedy or loot first attitude. We roll need if you need, and greed if you don't in our raids... PERIOD If you are invited to our raids as a pugger, you roll against us just like you're here for the 50th time. This is good and bad of course, but it maintains our value.. We play because of the people in the guild, not just for purples.
4. Expect that you're going to get picked on, that you pick on others, to laugh when a wipe happens, to laugh that you're lost etc. We don't yell in vent, there's no fights or stupid drama with us. Sure, we get frustrated, but who doesn't get frustrated with their friends from time to time. Get over it, move on...
5. And of course our #1 thing... You've got to try your best and have fun. We're not going to be the top guild on the server and we do not want to. We want to maintain that we know we have top quality people, who raid twice a week and whatever we can get done during that time, we're satisfied with. Again, fun trumps everything.
