Conclave invites you to discover the history behind Winter Veil.

This is the first of many Winter Veil riddles, designed to lead you on a scavenger hunt to bring to light the history of Winter Veil

Like Greatfather Winter's beard, so fluffy and white,
A chapel of Wintertide was once so bright.
In the far northern reaches covered in ice and snow,
In search of frozen blossom you must go.

Each day another clue shall appear, just as clear as the first. -In tiny letters someone scrawled: not very!-

Prizes will be awarded to those who are able to acquire all of the items successfully.

Join Conclave on December 15th at 7 bells in Winterspring to celebrate the Season of Winter Veil.

Each day a clue will be posted here on the forums that will help characters discover and explore the history behind Winter Veil. A new clue will be posted each day until the 15th, at which time the last clue will be revealed. There will be a Winter Veil Reveler's party on December 15th at 7 bells hosted by Conclave to celebrate the season and the newly gained knowledge.

Ah, and tis the land of thorium too! I can tell I'll be doing a wee bit o' mining between me hunts.

Do you think you could perhaps make the Riddles a bit less vague?
Or... Not have me go to Northrend? It's a bit of a distance to travel. Thankfully an old friend of mine was willing to create a portal to Dalaran for me. The flowers look and smell pretty enough though.

The second clue is tacked up on the board next to the first.

Whether from Great Father Winter himself,
Or sold by a Goblin from the top shelf,
No holiday season would be complete,
Without a festive holiday treat.
Bread baked with the sweetest of spice,
Would cause even the Greench to be nice.

Another clue is tacked up next to the others

If you seek the allure of pastures that are greener,
It will take the attention of an eye that is keener,
Seek out one of who's stature is small,
Who barters like the best of them and dwells in the forest:
A place where the air quality may be called the poorest.

Days have passed without further clues, how unfortunate. Another clue has been tacked up by the others.

The Great Feast of Winter Veil comes but once a year,
Celebrations will be held from Ironforge to Orgrimmar.
But the season is already upon us didn't you know?
Find one of the small, white frozen balls of.....
