World of Warcraft®

Hello folks! I've been on a fairly long hiatus from WoW and have decided to resubscribe after this free week is up. I'm actually considering changing servers, however, since my girlfriend is not currently able to play and many of our friends have either had to quit due to financial issues or have moved on.


I've heard plenty of good things about Cenarion Circle, and basically, I'm wondering how the roleplay community is here. Although Wyrmrest has a high population, too much of the roleplay is guild-based for my taste. Due to my constantly changing work hours, guilds simply don't work out too well for me and most of the time I'm stuck striking up random rp in towns and in the field.

I'll be playing Alliance, and if class has any bearing, most likely a vindicator/paladin.

With the AllianceOOC/HordeOOC channels, it's a lot easier to find RP outside of a guild. There's also some RP guilds about that don't mind odd play hours (Conclave is pretty lenient for example <shameless plug>). Many of the RP stories you see posted here are free to poke your nose into, too.

The server has a wide veriety of RPers and while there are many rp guilds, anyone will RP with the people around them. The best example being taverns, where anyone who sits inside for more than a few minuets will usualy recieve a friendly greeting, witness a debate, or watch a stressed out mage explode his soup bowl. Altogether its a very nice server with alot of interesting players and characters.

Shameless plugs aside, I think you'll really enjoy CC. Most everyone who comes to our server stays with us and the few that think they might want to leave always seem to come back, so we must be doing something right! :)
