Daytime Horde RP guild looking for more alts!

NEWS 12/26: Going to be tough for me to get in-game over the next week but would like to finish up recruiting! Please post in this thread or send me in-game mail if you'd like to get together with me, and I'll try to arrange a time that works for both of us.

The Stonebreaker Clan is a new orc-focused leveling/RP guild with the goal of providing IC company to those who wish to quest and run dungeons for a new Horde alt (some race restrictions, see below) during typical U.S. business hours (when it is often hard to find company and RP). We are trying to keep as much as possible to a compatible level band as we "grow up," though this is not mandatory.

*Please note in the first paragraph: "typical U.S. business hours." This is a very important fact that often gets skipped over by readers! This guild is active mostly between 9 am and 3 pm Pacific time weekdays. That's between noon and 6 p.m. Eastern time. So we're looking for people who are no longer in school and whose jobs are not during standard U.S. business hours.

We quickly filled out a core group of 5 class-balanced dungeon-buddies, but we are still looking for more people who would like to create a new alt and join the evolving story (which can be read in full on the Cenarion Circle realm forums under the "Lost Clan" heading. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3657282666 ). We also need people willing to step in when one of our core members can't make it to our regular dungeon runs (this happens virtually every run - juggling five schedules is hard!).

What we would love to have in the guild, in order of preference:

*An orc rogue willing to RP as another orc born to the "lost clan" (see storyline)

*A backup orc warrior/tank and backup orc shaman/healer for the core group's dungeon runs, RPed as other "Lost clan" members.

*Tauren, trolls, or goblins of the unavailable orc classes (Druid, Paladin, Priest) RPing as devoted friends of one or more members of the clan. Though not orcs, these characters will be given honorary clan status and full membership privileges due to possessing skills that are needed but not native to orcs. Those specced to heal or tank will be most likely to get in on the IC dungeon runs.

*Additional orc DPS (RPed as other orcs born to the "lost clan")

The guild "level band" is still well under 20, so there is plenty of time to catch up, and then you should have no trouble keeping up with our very leisurely leveling speed that will give you plenty of time to play your mains.

If you fall ahead or behind of the current recommended level range you will still be welcome to join our RP, you will just not be invited to our dungeon runs.

If your main is on a server other than Cenarion Circle, providing the guild leader with your RealID information will ensure that you are invited more often to dungeon runs, spontaneous guild RP, etc., though it is not 100% mandatory. Your information will never be used for any purpose other than to give you a heads-up about guild activities you're welcome to.

If you're interested, post here or contact me in-game on Egar or Edson (both on Cenarion Circle Horde side).

I may be interested when you get to my level, even willing to race change to orc, been thinking about it anyway, I have no empty slots to start new characters on CC. I can join anytime, daytime is good for me I am often hard pressed to find rp during the week, I am west coast.

Ok! Feel free to follow our thread on the CC forums and join us when we reach your level. It may be a little while, since we're leveling at a "smell the roses" pace, so feel free to hit us up for RP anytime while you wait. :-)

Unfortunately, we're definitely looking for folks that are online during "business hours" year round, not just during the holiday season, as this is going to be a long-term project! So our members are likely to be folks who have graduated from school and have jobs with non-standard schedules. (I myself am a 35-year-old writer who prefers to play WoW when my daughter is at school).

The plus side of this: a generally mature player base, and company for those who often have trouble finding it due to playing at off-peak hours. The minus side: even after we get established more, the guild would tend to be smaller in size than a similar guild that focuses on night-and-weekend activity.

Thoughts on an Orc Deathknight joining?

I'll make another character for the guild starting at one, just wondering.

I am very interested in this "new" guild. I, myself, would love to fit into any roles that need to be filled! Ofcourse I would have to create a new character on that server since I am a Moon Gaurdian, (main is on Moon Gaurd), and I would need help to level up, but I would be willing to try it out. Just tell me what I can do, and I will try to do it the best I can!

When the guild gets closer to level 55 I might consider accepting death knights, though it would be really tough for Egar to accept that IC, and he will have to go through a lot of soul-searching. But he has plenty of time to get there as he is only level 17 right now :D In the meantime, we're just accepting the classes/races listed for now. Send me a tell in-game next time you catch me on if you want to talk more!

To Amaelora - If you can think of a good orc rogue concept, that would be ideal! That is the one orc class we are missing right now besides DK (see above). I will be happy to chat with you anytime I am online. Friend both Egar and Edson and poke me next time you see me on!

I can do great as a rogue! Most of my role play characters are either hunters, or rogues, and I can make a pretty tough cookie out of a chick. I will mostly be on at weekends, and weekdays, so no worry of me being gone for huge periods of times. If I ever get the chance, I shall talk to you over game of the concept of the orc rogue, (most likely female as I, but I can bend), and what role she/he will play, backstory, looks, and other important tasks. I would also love to see how you do in character, and other members of the guild as well!

I only have one question, how will the orc rogue fit into this all? As it seems that you have already established a fine role-play with a group of others, but I can wait as long as you want.

We have started the RP but there is always room for others to join. A person could either be another orc who has the same brand and finds out (a bit later) about the posted note in Orgrimmar and joins the story that way, or it could just be someone without a strong clan affiliation who happens across the clan members and befriends one or more of them and so gets "adopted" into the clan that way.

It's a very open storyline and evolves based on what people bring to it; my idea of the history of the "lost clan" is really just a jumping-off point to get us started.

RPing with Egar is a great way to get in; he is very friendly (except to Blood Elves and Forsaken) and so is willing to "adopt" almost anyone who seems to need a place to belong. :-)

Spoke with Ahkeg and he's gonna try being a backup restoration/elemental shaman for us, and will be playing an orc who also has the brand. Haven't managed to cross paths with Amaelora yet, but still looking! And we're willing to take as many people as can stomach our odd scheduling and who love to RP. :-)

I approve of all shammy-ness!

Our hunter just got a new job which may keep him from many of our meetings, so we are also now specifically in the market for an orc hunter as well! :-) Though the orc rogue, if we can get one, will fill in a DPS slot nicely too.

I was just curious to know how experienced at rp do you want the player to be?

I am happy to show new RPers the ropes! I've been doing it a long time and as long as someone is enthusiastic about learning it I don't care if the person is a newbie. I am happy to answer questions, help with character creation, give pointers, or just let you learn as you go. :-D

Egar - Please disregard my ingame letter (from unknown if I managed to get it to work correctly) I am having difficulty logging into the game.

Sorry to hear that! Hopefully we'll get in touch soon. :-)

My apologies for those who were expecting to meet up with me yesterday. I'm horribly sick atm but hoping this will not last long...

Egar, seems you are onto a good thing with your group. I've been lurking and following your progress (not in game, on the forums). I would love to sent a character your way, but I work during the hours you seem to be playing the most.

My main is currently at an impass and not playable for IC reasons and I would like to find something I can get involved in until her storyline progresses. To bad being employed is a necessity for me otherwise I'd just play WoW all day!

Anyway, if I don't get a chance to meet up with your group, good luck!
