Recently CC lost one of its members. Shelby was young, eighteen, with her life ahead of her. She had been here since vanilla, with a brief foray to another server before returning home.
She was a kindness to those she could help and loved helping others. She always had a joke to share and loved to laugh. She loved the game and the people here.
Even though she had severe medical problems that often required hospitalization, she seldom let it dampen her cheerful spirit. She was the face of quiet courage against adversity many people would have crumbled under.
She went to school. She had a job. She played WoW. She was the bright teen you see laughing and smiling with her friends at the mall. She was a valuable part of CC.
Her guild will be hosting a memorial service 5:00 pm December 28, 2011 at Twilight Grove in Duskwood, one of her favorite areas. ((Note I had originally posted Moonglade. It's been changed from original talks.))
We would like to show support for this remarkable young woman and her family, including her brother who also plays here.
