Just a little closer..Haelifur beat his massive wings, carrying upon his back, a highly amused warrior. Hael flanked the zepplin with a bloodthirsty grin. Now THIS was passing the time effectively. She gave the reins a firm tug, sending Haelifur bumping into the side of the zepplin and startling one of the bluffwatchers who teetered upon the edge before managing to save their balance with the support ropes that anchored the sails.

There were a few yelled obscenities in her direction, but by then she'd steered Haelifur to fly just beneath the zepplin out of their sight and reach. They were nearing the bustling city of Thunder Bluff. Her little amusement for the day would be over soon. But not without a parting gift..

Hael balanced in the saddle stirrups, half standing now as she steered her drake with one hand, and hurled a package upon the deck of the zepplin. She'd come across the 'present' near ironforge. Whatever was inside, had a fuse, which stuck out of the brown wrapping, giving her just enough length to time her escape. It would only prove a satisfactory reward to use it for its intent. She sat down quickly, heeling her drake and yanking the reins to hang a hard right, diving away from the zepplin with Haelifur between her thighs.

The explosion behind her sent a heated gust of wind at her back. "Success!" She shouted as Haelifur bellowed and roared defiantly, backing up her enthusiasm. With a satisfied grin, she fled the scene, satiated on her quota of trouble....for now.

Drakehide had just sat down to eat an evening bowl of turtle soup with his father, Mok'Rukh, when the ground began to shake beneath their feet. The two of them ran to the door of their homestead in the Northern Barrens, weapons in hand, expecting some sort of Alliance raid or attack nearby.

What they saw instead was a billowing cloud of smoke to the south, from Thunder Bluff.

"Spirits be with us," Mok'Rukh whispered quietly, his jaw slightly agape.

Drakehide's gaze narrowed, his brow knotted in rage and his fists clenched around the shaft of his painsaw. With a scowl, he stormed back into the hovel.

"I have a letter to write," he hissed.

The attacks persisted over the next few days. It was hard to get a good, clean shot at exactly who was involved. An assault was never launched in the same place twice, though the targeted area seemed to be the bluff. There was no individual goal on her agenda. A zepplin here, a hulking, wooden totem there. The news spread like the plague though, and soon enough bluff watchers and wyvern riders were doubled to guard previously attacked areas.

Hael surveyed the scene from afar. This wouldn't do. She needed an outlet for her idle time between missions. The bluff was crawling with defenses now, and the black drake and rider hovered restlessly in the distance, just out of reach.

"Looks like we're off to find new playthings."

Hael gave Haelifur a slap upon his thick, scaly neck before guiding him downward to get a better view of the smaller, surrounding villages. She was about to wake someone up at the cost of her own entertainment.
