[ Not sure if anyone has been planning this, if you are let me know. ]

A parchment was sent to all cities, and all major organizations, the AAMS, the Doctas, Razortalons, Homeland, and even some Alliance organizations such as Pia Presidium.

  • To All Lovers!

The Lover's Day Festival is upon us. And often as not in this time of war, death and destruction, we sometimes forget the little things in life. To remember to love that special person who has made such an impact on your life. This could even be a friend you love, it does not matter.

I invite you all to join me in celebrating this festival. I have decided to host it in the lovely lands of Hinterlands in the ruins of Seradane.

Formal dress is very much required. Food and drinks will be provided to members of the Horde, my apologies to the Alliance. Fighting will not be tolerated. If one wishes to help me in the hosting of this Ball, please send a letter to Araceli Shade in the mail. All assistance is helpful and appreciated.

The date is the 18th, as the bell rings 6. I do hope to see you all there, as we celebrate the destruction of Deathwing, and hopefully a small peace.

  • [[ So yes! The 18th of this month at 6 server, I've decided to host a ball. It's in Hinterlands in Seradane, where the huge ruins are. If anyone on the Ally side would like to help me host, or anyone horde-side as well that would be appreciated. ]]

((I'll pass the word along. Pia will be hosting a box social on the 12th. I've not hread of anything else Alliance side. It would be nice if someone would host a box social horde side.))

(( Akiae, translations would be nice if needed. I'll be collecting food and alcohol. This is my first event I've hosted, so I'm not sure if people actually request food/alcohol or bring their own. Any knowledge of if people request food/drink?

Gentyl: What is a box social? >.> I'm sorry, I'm out of the loop on that one. xD ))

((Araceli, in a real box social, ladies cook up a picnic lunch with enough food for two people and then they decorate the boxes with the food as fancy as they can. An auctioneer auctions them off and the lucky winner of the picnic basket gets to have lunch with the maker of the basket. the names are kept anonymous until after the bidding.

In wow land, the person making the picnic keeps the food on them, enough for two people. The maker gives the auctioneer a letter describing the picnic basket and the auctioneer reads the description and auctions off the basket.

Last time we had ladies make baskets. This time we're having men make them and the ladies are bidding. We used to proceeds to support some other rp guilds and rp projects.

Any horde guild or group of guilds would be welcome to use the box social idea so horde can play also.))

((Typically, you have to go around and shove it at people, or at least advertise many times that you have it, else it doesn't get asked for.

Mirroring what Akiae said. AAMS services are here at your disposal! As well as advertising for Alliance side, if you'd like that.))

[[ Note, I had to change the venue guys, from Feralas to Hinterlands, because I for some reason, did not see the Alliance area that's basically right next to the ruins and I don't want any accidental scuffles going on. Seradane is now completely empty and void of all mobs, and seems like a great place. Thanks Kalithrien for suggesting it to me! ]]

(( Thanks everyone for coming and making this Ball a huge success! Very much thanks to the AAMS who came and helped translate.

((Araceli and all who sponsored this, thank you so much. Although Gen attends a lot of functions alone simply representing Pia, I didn't think this was something she would attend without the Commander.

It sounded like everyone had a lot of fun. Kudos!))
