Arjah's Sad, Inevitable Farewell

Well, I've put this off long enough.

It's been a good long run on Cenarion Circle, and now it's time to say good-bye.

I leave a happy player. Cenarion Circle has been a good, active home all my years, from my early days with the Erinyes Sisterhood on up through running the AAMS on Aeldgyth/Andelia.

(No, I still don't have a reason for all the names starting with A. It just happened that way.)

I wish I could stay. Life is too busy for that now. I don't see that changing any time soon, so alas this is goodbye for good.

It's been a wild ride. The Erinyes Sisterhood, Modas il Toralar, Da Doctas, Modas il Toralar again, Alterac University, Homeland, AAMS and AAMS Alliance Branch -- more opportunity than any scandal-laden troll could ever wish for.

Thank you all. I will always be glad I let friends bully me into trying a blocky-looking online fantasy game however-many years ago. It's been a wonderful way to waste my time and yours.

All the Best,

Arj

Arjah, while I did not have the opportunity to RP or interact with you often, when I did it was always a pleasure. Whatever life has in store for you next, I wish you the best. As Drakehide would probably say, Aka'Magosh - blessings on you, and your house.

I'm sad to hear you're leaving, Arjah. I never did get the chance to RP with you, nor did I really get much of a chance to talk with you OOC, which I think is a shame. However, I wish you luck luck, wherever life decides to take you. Take care.

Sun on your head, Arjah. It was a pleasure to have known you, however briefly.

((My, my, been a while. I dare say I almost never expect anyone's quitting to be permanent, but take care, mate.))

((What a long strange trip it's been. I'm sad to see you go. I wanted to thank you for how very much you've put into AAMS for the past few months. You've been a pillar of the community.

RL treat you well, and give you adventures of the more pleasant kind.

Tazdingo, mon!))

The orc wandered in, towing a particularly large cart. Mounted on it was an elaboratly crafted cake, of Arjah and the entire Homeland longhouse. He leave is in front of her, and runs out sobbing.

Argh. Arjah, you've always been one of my favorites on whichever incarnation. I certainly understand your reason for leaving. Real life first always, but you will be missed.

I still laugh about the time Aeldgyth tried to give Gen a scandalous silk nighty and the havoc the sheep played with AAMS.

Of course, we go back farther than AAMS, but I'm not sure there's room enough to reflect on all the adventures and misadventures.

Fair travels. You will be remembered fondly.

I've had fun, the times I did get to RP with you Arjah. Sad to see you go. You've done so much for the community on CC.

Best of luck in real life *shudders at the thought that he too may have to return to this 'life' thing one day*

I'm afraid you won't, not likely -- I never was much of one for returns and resurrections. Even a lady of Arjah's dubious character knows when it's time to make a polite exit and this is mine. I will miss WoW and CC very much, but this is it. Still, nothing's ever certain...

Well, if I return, I hope you'll be the first to laugh and point out my inconsistency. Raoul has always been Arjah's best and dearest foil, keeping her at least a tiny bit humble, and I shall certainly miss it.

I wanted to thank you for how very much you've put into AAMS for the past few months.

Over a year, now :) Funny how the time flies, isn't it? But with the AAMS I only built on the shoulders of giants before me, and it's been a joy to work with the strange, unique little organization that CC has built and supported for so many years. It was in many ways my last and best fling of roleplaying on this server.

Now, now. No frowny-faces from the troll recently voted "Nicest Smile" by a bi-faction panel of judges!

Argh. Arjah, you've always been one of my favorites on whichever incarnation.

...

Almost to the beginning. I'm glad I'm leaving the AAMS with their Best/Worst Customer and the server with one of the best old hands out there.

And to all my Homeland well-wishers...good-bye, good-bye, and thank you a dozen times over! I never dreamed that the impulsive little experiment started by Arjah, Dreejin, and Dokarg the night they were fired from Alterac University would turn into a home for so many.

I hope all of you can keep playing and having fun for many more years. I'm sorry I won't be a part of it.

Good-bye!

We havent spoken in eons, but you were one of the few who brought me into the fold of the game eons ago with the sisterhood/pwnies adventures. May life bring you new adventures, friends and good memories!

I cannot imagine why anyone would wish to.

Because you are Arjah. Your shenanigans and the fun had with you knows no bounds.

Besides, just because you're quitting WoW dosen't mean Arjah won't be alive somewhere.
