That mad troll is back and at it again!

What?
Two weekends of RP events to celebrate our roleplay community and our marvelous guilds! All are welcome! Let's show our Cenarion Circle pride.

When?
11th-12th March (Alliance)
17th-18th Match (Horde)
Please note, these dates are tentative! Because of certain oversights up at the AAMS office (<cough> <innocent look>) these may be moved back if not enough event slots are filled.

Where?
At the Argent Tournament Grounds in Icecrown!

Who?
For anyone on the server, be they roleplayer, PvPer, PvEer, or PvAnything-Else-er! All we ask is that you respect the rights of the RPers to be RPing (and for everyone else to be doing... whatever it is they're doing, too!)

Why?
It's that time of year again!

Come along, join in one (or more! or all!) of many exciting events and sideshows including duel tournaments, jousting, fortune telling, raffles, storytelling, and much, much more. Meet new people, maybe find a new guild - or even discover a whole new side to the game to explore!

How?
If you need transport, just join the allianceooc/hordeooc channel on the day and request a summon!
Want to run an event? Just let us know (see below) with the date and time you'd like to do it, and details of the event. Please let us know if this is a guild-sponsored event so we can give the appropriate credit.
Want to turn up to represent your guild and/or recruit? Just come along and turn up.
Want to advertise your wares and run an IC stall or shop? Just turn up on the day and find space around the vendor tents.

Event sign-ups for new events on Alliance-side are now CLOSED. With any luck, the finalized schedule will be up by tomorrow, and the Alliance Spring Festival will kick off this Sunday!

New to Cenarion Circle? Need a ride up to the Argent Tournament Grounds? Have no fear! We have summons and two-seater mounts available for low-level characters.

There's a potential small problem with your original post, Yotingo. Isn't Troubador Night in Ironforge on Mondays? Or is Gentyl moving it to be part of the Spring Festival?

Mira is the one I spoke to about a month ago, who was planning on it, yes. If Gentyl decided to host it instead of Mira, she'll need to come speak with me so we can get that figured out.

Whatever location is used, that slot will remain open for the usual Troubadour Night. Summons can probably be arranged if it needs to be in Ironforge.

I'm confused. Gentyl always hosts Troubadour Night. Why does she need to go to you about it? Shouldn't you confirm a venue change with the person who runs the event instead of the other way around? Posting out of the blue that the event will be held in a different location and hosted by a different person without engaging in some basic fact checking is sloppy. You need to fix this, Yotingo. It's not Gentyl's responsibility to make sure you don't get things wrong, it's yours.

No need to go eviscerating anyone in the name of anyone else. After all, Yot's just trying to bring folk together for a server-wide RP event, nothing wrong with that. ))

The original error was on my part, for which I apologize. To my knowledge, the Troubadour Night was jointly run. This has been corrected in the schedule now.

As far as it being Gentyl's responsibility, I don't run on hearsay. I needed to hear it from her (which I have), not from you. Which is why I say she needed to come talk to me. That way we can all be sure the correct thing has been done.

This has all been settled. Troubadour Night is a Pia event as is the clinic. It was not jointly run, but Mira did fill in for me a couple of times. Unfortunately, no one told me about the change in venue. However, like I said, it's settled. Thankfully someone did bring this to my attention before the event so we could get it figured out.

Coming up fast now, this starts tomorrow!

The Horde date will likely be pushed back by one or two weeks to give more time to organize it.

The schedule for the Horde Spring Festival is beginning to go up as you can see, sans one or two planned events still needing confirmation, and of course, if YOU wanted to run anything!
