World of Warcraft®

I created Garorn, a tauren shaman, to be on the Hode side of the AAMS. (In case you didn't know, Telikan, my Draenei, is a courier) However, as I talked in hearthstone and explored around, I had a very different idea.

Garorn is an explorer and historian. He is in Undercity, trying to unravel what exactly happened at the the death of Lordaeron's last king, among other secrets of the great city, and then after, maybe Silvermoon, Fenris (Aorune's Keep o.o), and hopefully other Alliance-controlled lands with the aid from friendly AAMS members. So, who would make an alt or join a guild Horde-side based on exploring, archaeology, and plain unraveling the past?

(Please tell me quickly if there is already something like this, other than the Explorer's League.)

In the lore, the Horde counterpart to the dwarven Explorer's League is The Reliquary. It's a bunch of blood elves who look to acquire powerful magical artifacts for their own ends, and is hostile to the Explorer's League.

There may be something you can work with from there. As far as I know, there aren't any guilds Horde-side with a particular archaeology theme.

I forgot about the Reliquary, but I'd like more welcoming to other races and not hostile to the Reliquary or/and Explorer's League. perhaps cross-faction, like the AAMS.

((The Reliquary would be it, yes. Caerias, an alt of mine, started out his life IC as an archaeologist clerk living in the Reliquary's basement, filing artifacts. At some point, Aorune, I think Garorn and him should probably chat. xD))

((As for guilds, I don't think any exist. Not to my knowledge, anyway. It's entirely possible that one could have started since I've hopped on to CC.))

((It seems, given what I know of the AAMS, a historian type character would absolutely fit in there. AAMS isn't just messengers and translators, as I understand it they are trying to preserve the cultures of the Alliance and the Horde and the mortal races of Azeroth by promoting peace between them. Preserving their histories would be part of that.

Unless I've totally made that up. :P))
