Hello all, I don't feel like putting my whole bio on here at the moment. But the basics are, I've been playing since 2005, use to RP heavily on Kirin Tor until I got involved in raiding and pvping. My RP experience lasted about 6 months. Recently, I've been reading the novels, the lore, a little bit of fan lore, and I want to get heavily back into RP in-game.

I've chosen Cenarian Circle as my destination, I'm pretty sure. In the incarnation of my Human Warrior. He is a warrior modeled unoriginally after the personality of Arthas, since I love Arthas' young life story so much.

I created a toon on Cenarian Circle just to check the public and the market. I will be initiating my transfer within the next day or two. My reason for this post was to introduce myself, as well as see if there are any guilds that meet my interests.

I'm looking for a heavy RP guild with frequent events. I want to make some close friends and enjoy forming stories within the Warcraft universe. But, I also want the comfortability that once I make friends, that it still may be acceptable to whisper or chat with these people OOC without causing an issue, I know how some heavy RP guilds can be. I don't intend on talking OOC in guild chat or anything. But I would still like it to be acceptable in whispers and such.

Also, I wouldn't mind a guild that has an alliance with 1 or more guilds, to kind of broaden the group of people that we are RPing with. If anyone can point me in the right direction, or extend an invitation, I'd appreciate it. I would like to have my arrival already being expected before I transfer over. Thank you :)

First of all, welcome (in advance) to CC!

Second, you'll find that the A-side community as a whole is very welcoming and friendly (if a little strange in the OOC channel). Most of the guilds are recruiting, and there are some quite good ones for a lawful-good type character. I'm sure several will be along to plug theirs shortly, so I won't go into a long list. Many of us are listed on the stickied thread above, and there's a Guild Macro of DOOM that gives a short blurb about each participant. I'd plug my own guild right here, but I won't overload you right now.

Third, on CC, you don't have to join up with a large guild in order to find some RP excitement or friends, unlike many servers! I won't say don't do it, but just want to let you know that community is very easy to come by in these parts, via the OOC channel. There's currently a War Council that meets regularly for planning and PvP action, involving multiple guilds, and it provides a lot of excitement. There are also many exciting regular events and seasonal events planned by the different guilds; just keep an eye here and on CenarionCircle.org!

Finally and again, welcome to CC! Here's looking forward to working together with you!

Thank you very much! I do appreciate the warm welcome! I'm happy to hear that it is an open community, it's far from what I have grown use to on my current realm. What are some normal places that RP can be "ran" into? I suppose I could wait until I arrive on CC and wander around, but I suppose it is good to gather information along the way. Is Goldshire still a universally known RP area? Back in Vanilla, that was the norm, but I am out of touch with what openly goes on with RP anymore.

My character really wouldn't be classified as lawful-good. Like Arthas, my character is devoted to the Alliance, but in the event that there be corruption within the system, Femranis (my toon), would not hesitate to rebel against it. I mean, I guess that falls under lawgood good, but I want to keep him open to not being easily persuaded just because someone of authority gives him orders. It would all depend on the intent of the orders.

Hah, "lawful good is lawful stupid" is one of my pet peeves as well. Glad to see you're willing to have Femranis use his head! You'll fit right in hereabouts. (The character I'm posting with will almost surely like him.)

Your best bet for RP action is to visit the Blue Recluse in Stormwind, and keep an ear on the AllianceOOC channel. If push comes to shove, you can always say you're looking to RP, which often gets results. (Although Friday night's a little rough, since a lot of people raid and/or instance that night.)

The Blue Recluse in Stormwind's Mage Quarter is this server's RP hotspot. Goldshire, meanwhile, is to be avoided. It's essentially GS on any PvE server.

Anyway, glad you chose to check out CC! We'll be glad to have ya!

Ahh, wonderful! I do recall fond memories of spending many nights in the taverns of Stormwind. I will definitely keep both of you in mind when I arrive on the wonderous Cenarion Circle! :D

I am very anxious and I may just have to make my move tonight :)
