Got a practical and utterly OOC question fer ya....

Razer or Steelseries? Figure on gittin' me one a them newfangled gaming mouse things, just tryin'a ta decide which way ta go. I wants me multifucntion buttons use fer this here game, and a nice in-hame interface for configurin the damn thing. And since I'm a designer and artist by trade, I reckon I want some high precision and durability when it comes ta everyday tasks as well (which knocks things like that there Nostromo outta the runnin' right away...).

So, any input'd be much appreciated.

I use a Razer Naga myself, and love it. I haven't had it for very long, so I can't say much for the durability other than I myself haven't had any issues with it. As far as ingame interface goes, there *is* a wow addon to assist you with the Razer Naga, but I don't use it since you can also just keybind the 14 extra buttons like you would anything else on your keyboard.

There is also a program that comes with it that updates once a week or so, that also lets you remap what the buttons on the mouse do. For example, I have my mouse scroller set to "Alt" when I press it down, making modifier macros in-game much easier to hit.

Looks like you've made up your mind pretty much, but I'll throw in another vote for Razer. Absolutely love mine, works great even after over a year now. I regularly switch between my desktop and my laptop with it, and I've never had a problem with it.

I use the 1-12 buttons essentially as what's already keybound on my 1 to = buttons on the keyboard, still works fine.

i have the razer naga. i'm not terribly impressed with it. i have to use the cord as it won't keep a charge. i should probably send it back.
