Azarothian Reality in light of Earthen Realty

(( If we take Azaroth is a reality, just like earth, and it's just another world; then several situation will occur in Azroth which seems to be problematic in 'reality' of earth. I ask all who faced such situation to post here and let us solve that :P ))

(( My first question is, How do the Trolls kiss their love, as the girl's face is supposed to be stuck in between the tasks before reaching the mon's face! So does nat a troll kiss? And what's the probability to be impaled by the task, when the gal jump/rush to hug the mon? ))

((Here's one: Death Knights are supposed to be a small portion of the Scourge/undead population, yet they're often one of the classes you're most likely to encounter (especially back when it was just post-3.0; you could zoom out your camera in SW and literally see ten DKs at a time). It makes one question just how many people have died, and whether the living populations are on the brink of extinction as a result.))

(( may be due to the demonic corruption they obtained similar reproduction capability as human.........and moreover, to avoid extinction of their race the Blood Elves are deliberately trying to bolster their number! ))

(( my take is, not all the population of every race are engaged in war, I mean to say every Human or Orc are not warriors or spell casters, but I think larger portion of them are traders or farmers or bureaucrats. On the other hand DKs does not form a society but groups, each and every DKs are warriors; so in battlefield, I think it's ok to come across great number of DK than other races!))

((I know some death knights choose to play themselves off as not actually being dead, or having any connection to the Scourge at all; some play the dark warrior card and go for the skull-embossed armor only DKs - or people with really lucky rolls in heroic ICC - can get.))

((Yeah, I've seen all that before--endlessly, to the point where I began to question why Blizz even created the class since people wanted the look but not the actual class itself--but I was talking from a purely mechanics perspective. That many DKs = carnage on a population-killing scale, considering that Stormwind has only about 200,000 residents, and not all of them human.))

((Is there a canon number to populations? The 200k figure was the RPG, but Blizzard's pretty much declared that non-canon, or at least what parts of it haven't actually appeared in WoW...I wouldn't imagine there is an easy-to-pinpoint number given the fact that races like blood elves are supposed to be "rare" and yet there are millions of them, lol...))

((Well, considering that about 199,950 of those listed members of the population haven't appeared in-game, and the vast majority of those who have are guardsmen and -women who get messily killed whenever a Hordie visits town, I'm going to assume that Blizz hasn't pronounced that number incorrect as yet.

((Which was one of my major issues with their blanket deletion of the RPG material (rather than a reissue of said books with corrections made, or a fancy coffee-table style book of Warcraft lore or some such), but that's me. I have issues with sloppiness in world-building.))

((Edited to add: It seems lately I have a gift for being opaque. Allow me to clarify: If Blizz says that we can only trust the evidence of our eyes via what our game clients will render, then it means that the population of Stormwind is somewhere in the neighborhood of dozens, not thousands, with the vast majority being military and not civilian. I mean, look at the geographical size of the place; it's smaller than my subdivision, for pity's sake. There's not even enough housing for the guards unless you stack 'em like cordwood. At the same time, we can't just assume mega-metropoleis like we have IRL, so...200K sounds reasonable to yours truly.))

(( Now you can see that there are less number of buildings than creatures, truly speaking, only Kobolds have well place to live compared to their number!
What's more you can find only people who are necessary to us, warrior, spell caster, weapon or potion vendor, trainers. There are no teachers, sportsmen, entertainer, or just normal people. Take the example of Goblin slum in Ogrimmar, only people neccessary to us, and no more people you can see! But as all the survived population of Goblin Race were settled there, then how you can find only so less number of people?
I suppose we can only see the people we 'need', not the entire population, nor their residence! You can think it as, actually it is not like we 'can't' see them, but we 'don't notice' them! But the remaining common people are still there! ))

((Well, see, I don't have a problem with that myself. In fact, that's how I've always viewed it. But if Blizz's position of "If it ain't in game, you're not allowed to think it's there" is the true situation...

((Bah, never mind. I just think the DKs are overrepresented, and won't nothin' change that.))

((my take on it , there has to be several million humans world wide, same for the orcs, etc, with smaller populations for Trolls, Worgen, and other races that aren't as well represented in the Alliance and Horde. Because if the population were truly that small as just the people we can see, there wouldn't be any major wars, siege engines, giant flying airships etc, because the population would be involved in basic survival, and not have the time , people or infrastructure to do these bigger projects. They're just not noticed by the 'heroes' of the world, as we're all too busy to be heroic to really notice the cobblers, coopers, bakers, farmers etc-only the ones we actually run into (npc's ) stick out in our world view. ))

((Look, explain it to Blizzard. They're the dense blockheads who nullified all the parts of their own lore that made any sense.

((And that's all I had left to say.))
