I thought Pandarens go with Chinese and some japanese cultures... And can't we come to a truce, that both races have great lore?

More Chinese than anything else... Even the names are Chinese in most cases. Oriental cultures do have a lot of similarities in some regions, though...

If I'm lucky maybe I'll be fortunate to get your help. I'm a content creator for youtube and a fellow moon guardian and one of the new videos I want to make is to teach people how to roleplay and places on the server that are great for this. Basically I want to get people interested in roleplay, teaching them the proper way to roleplay and get started with no Rp experience, and then try to get people interested in it. I need someone that knows enough about roleplay to where they feel they could help me in this matter and teach how to roleplay in a simple yet enticing way thats easy to understand for beginners.

I honestly think it would be a better idea to post your videos on the PVP/GD and such forums. You'll find that you'll probably get a lot more views than on MG. :)

the mg post is to try to get people to check out the site. Me posting here is to try to get the help of Knowledgeable role players for my new vid. I assume this will be a good place to ask for such help :)

Compared to some of the other posts in this thread, Tikado's really is not all that bad.

No, I mean that wouldn't change how night elves act or react to things. Azshara's father's stuff is new lore but most Nelfs would probably know that already.

The troll stuff wouldn't change anything because Night Elf creation myth says nothing about them being created by Elune, but rather Elune came after their 'birth' and aided them.

So, in reality, these lore reveals won't make any vast change to Night Elf society.

No I know what your saying. Creation myth yadda yadda yadda but the new quest lines cancel that out. It's no longer a myth. The night elves from Wota already know they were trolls. There is no more myth to it.

Not really.

They believed they were created, then Elune blessed them. Nothing about that changed. It never said anything about how they were created. Elune is still their mother, possibly their creator, and their chief diety.

Night Elves wouldn't be having a crisis of faith over this.

Some might.

Why? Look at Cenarius. He was Elune and Malorne's son. Half stag, half elf. Ergo, Night Elves and Elune are connected.

Their creation myth has nothing to do with who or what made them, just that Elune favored them from the start and gave them the ability to see in the dark.

This reveal (which apparently many Night Elves have known from the start, if the quest is to be believed) wouldnt' change anything about that.

Therefore, no crisis of faith.

I was telling it to caristinn who not only is a friend but someone who has kept somewhat up to date on my channel. Meant no harm and were getting off topic.

If anyone is willing to help me make a guide on RP please hit me up either in game, my youtube channel, or on my forum post.

Not when they will know directly that they were trolls and only separated because of arcane usage. (Zandalari banned it or something)

It's a moot point right now though because any of this can change.

No, I don't speak for Night Elves so emotional and panicked they freak out over things they already knew for 10,000 years.

That's hilarious if it turns out that way after blizzard having left it undefined for years. It's pulling the rug out from us, but our characters really can't act like it is a new revelation.
