((from a bit of impromptu rp last night at the clinic that may end up going off the rails down the road :) Sadly stuff scrolled off before I could copy much, but this is the gist of it from Emma's perspective ))
It was probably nothing. Cypher Three had 'acquired' a chemical from the foul depths of the Undercity, that if her contact was right, would enable the damaged nerves to be repaired. letting her not only walk again, but fight. And there was a lot of that that needed doing, the risk, while high, was worthwhile. It had taken a good deal of persuading to get Mira to inject it into her damaged spine, and several legnths of stout rope to hold her down once the screaming began. Still, it did work. Oh there was some minor pain, itchy skin, and the whole fact of her fur and skin changing from a light brown to this dull grey, but still, she was not only walking, she could run again. Totally worth it.
She'd gone to the clinic mainly because she knew Mira asked her to have some blood drawn, so they could make sure that the drug had no bad side effects, and also to see if it was possible to figure out how it worked, and if it could be replicated. Waiting her turn , she sat down in front of one of the healers, a paladin Merral Stoneheardt and his assistant, a Draenei by the name of Mithara. The paladin looked close at her hand, then recoiled as she described the color change, and the itching, which led to several long minutes of having blood drawn, her ears peered into, even her teeth examined as if she was a horse. After a bit the two healers stepped outside to confer with each other out of earshot. Hearing the bell tolling seven hours, and belatedly remembering a scheduled meeting in Kalimdor, she quickly conjured a portal and vanished. Intelligence wasn't going to gather itself after all.
