Hey guys! As you might have guessed this is about a possible transfer here. ive heard good things about the community alliance side :D and ive found community is one of the biggest contributors to how much i enjoy wow. How is the rp here? Do you guys welcome new xfers? Even those of us fairly new to this vast and mysterious world of RP? Any info is appreciated! :D

Definitely found the right server. CC has a grand, flourishing RP community. While we don't have quite as much walk-up RP as some, we have tons of guild-based RP and roleplay events. (Pia Presidium hosts Troubador night and the clinic on mondays, Feathers of Iron tavern night on tuesday, so on and so forth.) Our major Alliance-side RP hub is the Blue Recluse in Stormwind, and, should you decide to jump the fence, Wyvern's Tail Inn in Org or Broken Keel in Ratchet for Hordies.

Also be sure to check out the AllianceOOC/HordeOOC chat channels for more info. (Watch for pant-stealing, hexing, and frying pans! *shoves the frying Pan of Doom into the corner*)

As for PvP, we actually have this dandy little thing called RP-PvP, which obviously is PvP action played in character.

Anyway, if you want, roll a toon on CC, see what'cha think, and most of all, welcome!

Scout around the dotOrg (cenarioncircle.org), poke these forums, show up in the Blue Recluse, Aerie Peak, Darrowshire, or a bunch of hotspots beginning to see action.

Get to know people before picking a guild, as there's a ton to choose from. And don't worry too hard about being new, we're pretty friendly around these parts. :)

Tom, welcome to the CC forums. I always recommend checking out the forums here. There's a ton of fun stuff going on. Roll an alt and join allianceooc and hearthstoneic and introduce yourself.

There are lots of rp things to attend. Sunday at 12:00 Sister Magdelyn of Pia Presidium holds a service at the cathedral at 12:00. At 3:30 Pia Presidium hosts a knighting ceremony at the cathedral. Only our members takes the vows normally, but all are welcome and to the pvp trial by arms that follows. Sunday at 6:00 is usually an ic battle of some sort hosted by Ragefang of Ebon Sanction. Monday is either a clinic or troubadour night in Ironforge hosted by Pia. Tuesday is the war council hosted by Ebon Sanction followed by the Feathers Tavern hosted by Feathers of Iron. Wednesday Ragefang heads up a Twilight drake run. (time may have changed on that.) That is followed by The Light and You sermon hosted by Genevra of Conclave. Thursday is the campfire storytelling either in Northshire Abbey or Goldshire where Pia encourages people to sit around a campfire and share their tales of adventure or tales from history. Sharing history is a fun way to share lore with prospective newcomers to rp. We also give away bags and equipment to youngsters in the area. Friday will be the Pia giveaway and help for lower levels to celebrate Children's Week.

AAMS is CC's unique cross-faction messenger service started by Plainswander a legendary Tauren on CC and currently headed by Derscha, a mostly friendly gnome, unless she's being accused of murder. They are always fun and a fun way to get to know people also as you can send or receive messages and packages to anyone including things cross-faction. they sometimes hold events in Caer Darrow, which is their headquarters and reclamation project.

Lots of things to do that are open to the public to help you get to know people. People are more than willing to help if you are new to rp. Everyone was new sometime.

The Recluse is the main hotspot though the Pig and Whistle also sees some action. Pia often has members standing guard at the cathedral who are happy to visit with passersby.

Pants. You're going to want to brings pants. Lots of them.

Watch out for the big hex-happy draenei.

We like gnomes 'round these parts.
