Destruction

In the dead of night, Tyrynna dreamt of fire.

She recognized immediately where she seemed to be. A small village in Ashenvale, not far from the coast. Everything was burning. Night Elves and their families were trying their best to flee, though many could not escape the flames.

This was the village where she'd been born...

Then how was it Tyrynna, standing over the bodies?

Slowly, Tyr looked down. The light from the fire was enough to get a good look at herself. Her skin was of a much bluer hue. She was much taller than she was used to. Her legs? Real. And two-toed. She could even feel the tiny tusks poking out of her mouth. But one thought crossed Tyrynna's mind.

How the HELL am I a troll?

As much as she wanted to speak, to ask someone where she was, what was going on, she couldn't find the words. It was as if her mind had been severed. It didn't take long to figure out that she was but a passenger on this curious mental journey.

Someone approached. It was a blood elf, clad in tight-fitting leather armor. Her face was masked behind cloth and black leather. Trailing her was a child- a human child, though try wasn't sure how a human would know of this place and time. She'd never seen these figures before in her life, yet somehow knew their names.

"Deceit... Delicate..." the elf's trollish host rasped. The blood elf let out a slight sigh.

"Now, Isei..." The rogue, the one called Deceit whispered. "You know better than that... my name is Aeliandra, remember?"

"And my name is Emily, silly." quipped the child, known as Delicate.

The troll, Isei, ignored the two. "Where... is... she...?" she growled out.

"Dischord is... nearby." Deceit reassured. "The attack has been...successful."

Isei nodded slightly, but frowned. "...This... feels... wrong.........Isei... not want... Destruction..."

Delicate whimpered. "But it's what the Mistress wants, so we have to. Besides..." The human picked up a small doll. "Elf puppets are such fun..."

Isei just shook her head. "Not... want... destruction..."

"Shame that's your purpose... isn't it?" rang out a new voice, one that she recognized immediately... and there was Dischord, standing right behind her... and she looked exactly like Tyrynna.

The scarlet-clad night elf approached the group. "Silly, sillylittleNightElves..." she quipped, moving between the group until she was in front of them. "Always running..." She deflected a spear that rushed toward her with her plate bracer. "Or... fighting a useless littlefight..." She then turned to the three women, eventually laying her eyes on Isei.

"Oh little Destruuuuction!" the elf sang. "I have a.... job for you..." She grinned toward an elven pair, still attempting to flee. The man, a druid, by the looks of it, was standing protectively over his lover, who appeared to be mid-childbirth. From within Isei's mind, Tyrynna found herself in shock.

Wait... Sybelline... and Tristian... Those... those are my parents!

Then, it was Dischord's words that disturbed both Isei and Tyr even more.

"Kill them."

Isei's eye's widened. "No.... not... not want destruction... can't..."

It wasn't long before the troll felt a sharp spike of pain within her mind. Tyrynna felt it just as much- the pain her lost telepathy had brought. Dischord, meanwhile, was approaching the troll. wearing that sick, evil grin.

"You say you don't want destruction!?" The elf cackled. "Lookaroundyou! Evereything is ablaze! So many are dead! Wanna know who's fault it is... well I got news for you, little girl, it's YOU!" Slowly, Isei and Tyrynna's mental bond seemed to sever from the body. Dischord's words were affecting the both of them.

"You ARE Destruction!" Dischord screamed. "Now get off your !@# and ACT LIKE IT!"

Dischord let out a might cackle, and Delicate and Deceit could only stare. Despite her best efforts, Isei found herself approaching Tyrynna's parents. The mother now held one, stillborn infant in her hands, and still laboring in obvious pain, and the father was pointing his staff straight at the troll. It seemed Isei's mind was completely severed, Dischord now in full control. Slowly, the troll raised one of her axes, prepared to strike down the young family...

Instead, the axe found itself cast at Dischord. Deceit held a blade to the elf's throat, and Delicate's hands we're bound by heat metal claws.

"Oh..." the elf smirked. "So THIS is how you treat your Mistress, eh?" Giggling, Dischord ripped the axe out of her stomach and cast the other two aside, into the flames, leaving only Dischord and Isei behind. Dischord once again exhibited that sick grin.

"Come then, little Destruction... time to wake up!"

"Never... again..." the troll rasped, then, she charged, and from Isei's mind, Tyrynna was severed.

" Wake up, little Destruction..."

With a start, Tyrynna awoke to stone walls. Her cell in the Stockades was cold and damp, yet she could still feel the flames of her dream licking her skin. Before the elf sat an old "friend," Dischord.

Tyrynna growled and rushed after her copy, grabbing her by the throat. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" she yelled, hoping to at least alert one of the guards. "How did you get in?!"

Dischord giggled and pointed back to the two unconscious cell guards. "They are... QUITE easy to deal with... justsoyouknoooow..."

Tyrynna clenched her fist around Dischord's neck. "What do you want?!" she growled, something reminiscent to that of a wild animal. Dischord only giggled more.

"Well... youseee..." the red-clad elf quipped. "At first, Iwasgonna kill you and your... little friends, Delicate and Deceit..." She tapped Tyr's forehead, referencing to the alternate personalities the elf possessed. "Howeeeeever... I think I found a better use for you instead! You are going to be a good little girl, and kill.... killinmynaaaame, I say."

Tyrynna let out another bestial growl. "You AREN'T getting a damn thing out of me!"

Dischord ignored the elf's denials. "Ohohoho... yesyouwill, yesyouwill... in case you've forgotten..." The elf pressed her thumb to Tyr's forehead as her eyes took on a sickly red glow. Tyrynna let out an earsplitting scream as the pain spiked in her head, boiling her blood to the very last vein. She could feel her mind slipping, despite her best efforts to hold on, but it was all futile.

"In case you've forgotten..." Dischord repeated, once again wearing that sickly grin. "You are Destruction! And I am your MISTRESS."

Tyr finally felt herself slip... but Dischord was unable to fight her way in. Deep in the folds of her mind, Delicate and Deceit were supporting Tyr, though not enough to keep her control. Tyr fought harder, harder than she should have. Sense abandoned the elf's mind as she wrenched her way back in.

The being once known as Tyrynna opened her eyes, which had also adopted the scarlet haze. She opened her mouth and let out a growl.

"NEVER....AGAIN!"

The elf stood and threw Dischord against the wall. Dischord cackled. "OHOHO! Now this... Thisisfun!" And Dischord continued to cackle as she was beaten into submission by the mindless elf.

When finished, the husk threw Dischord aside. She kicked open the unlocked door and smashed open a nearby crate. She grabbed the first thing she reached for- her large, battered polearm, and turned back to the cell. She remembered the small hole she'd climbed through the last time. With a slash, the stone fell away. The shell, once known as Tyrynna Stormshade, let out a growl, a scream, and slipped to her escape.

Tyrynna Stormshade was gone. Now, there was only Destruction.

* * * * * * * *

Hurriedly, Darvynn Stormshade rushed into the Stockades. He'd been awoken not all that long ago by the screams of his sister, and it was his sworn duty- as a Watchman AND a brother, to either protect or subdue his twin.

The tired elf arrived at the battered cell to two unconscious guards, a smashed storage crate, a broken cell, and... Tyr's psychopathic alter ego, Dischord.

"What the... hell?" the elf murmured upon seeing the conditions. His gaze fell to the battered and bloody Dischord, who offered a grin.

"Oh, woe is me..." Dischord sighed, rather melodramatically. "My fun, once again to be ruined, by that silly, sillycitywatch..." She eyes the clueless watchman and sighed. "Oh fine, fine, I'll cut the crap... yourlittlebigsister's run away. Right through that little hole... yeah, you see it? Good. I ALMOST had control of her.... coulda made a splendid killer, you know... ahh, alas. Sometimes we just don't... getwhatwe waaaant... gee, whatashaaaame, whatashaame...."

Darvynn blinked. "Uhh... yeah... huge shame..." He let out a heavy sigh. "Tomorrow's going to be a long day..."

((Hadn't spotted this one before, since I hasn't been on the CC forums lately, but...wow. Awesome writeup, and well done! Chilling, but awesome. Really liking Dischord as an awesome crazy-villain character.))

((Edited because there is apparently no "B" in the word "AN". Who knew?))
