Howdy y'all!
So I gots me a question. I got some gold layin' around, it ain't a lot, but it're a decentish chuck of change. I were wondering what ta do with it. Now, of course, I ain't gonna risk it all on this here idea. but I figgered, wonder what'd happen if I did something akin ta bankin.
See, what I'm thinkin' is ta take some of this here filthy lucre, and invest it in something. Whether it be the trades, commerce,or what-have-you. Let someone else handle a decent chuck of mah money in order to make me some change back over a certain period of time.
How it would work is like this: You tells me what kind of return I can expect, in what sort of time frame, and I hands you the gold. There's a rather large level of trust hre, so I ain't gonna give it out to just anone, you gotta demonstrate a good reputation and a basic grasp of financial ability, but beyond that, I'm open ta many proposals.
I'll start small ta begin with, say, 5000 gold as an opener. If you can turn mah 5000 into 10000, over the course of a week, you can either (A) keep 2500 of it (i.e. you takes the 5k, makes 10k, and then give me back 7500), or (B) you makes as much as you can, and gives me back 10k at the end of the week. Yer choice.
Now, naturally, y'alls gonna have ta detail what ya done to get the return on the investment, and I'm a publish results here, but it seems like a interesting way ta play with some money.
So, what say y'alls? Any takers? I mean, I'd do it myself, but I'm downright horrible at this bankin' stuff. Plus, who has time anymore these days? Wut with searching for artyfacts, checkin up on new (and vintage) fashions, and generally bein' the all-around-lovable handsome bull that I am?
