Hello folks!

With the release of MoP being a mere two months away, I've been bombarded with inquiries regarding if we here at Warcraftier are selling any sort of DS services. I figured I'd address this topic here.

We do not have a price list since we don't typically sell raid services. However, we are willing to work things out on an individual basis. Everyone seems to want different things and have different needs and requirements, and we can all work together to see if we can meet those points. Thus far we've been approached by various individuals wanting different things ranging from pre-MoP Heroic kills to Life-Binder's Handmaiden (which is going to go from 100% current Heroic drop rate down to sub-1% drop rate post MoP release).

So, consider this post "officializing" that if you want a certain DS service, talk to me in game and we can see if something can be arranged. :D

Will you sell items?

I still need that mount. After the anniversary party, I'll get serious about farming gold.

There's only one thing at this point that I want from Dragon Soul: Gurthalak. Raid Finder has not been kind to me, and to be honest, I'm growing sadly tired of getting into Raid Finder groups who wipe on the fourth platform because they aren't single-targeting the Blistering Tentacles, then watch half the raid disappear and have to wait 10-15 minutes between attempts while the tool cycles in new people, only to potentially have it happen again. Then the sword drops when we finally down Deathwing, and the gods of chance laugh at me and let a Paladin or Warrior tank win the roll. :(

Any general idea of what you'd charge for someone who wants the one item? I don't even want it on Heroic, and would even be willing to be cycled in on Madness alone if you looked at my Armory and concluded I wasn't someone you wanted in the previous fights.

I just want the damned sword. :(

It's actually more of a pain in the !@# for us to do it on normal, since we do the hour and a half heroic full clear and since there are shared loot that some people still want, doing it on normal would be counter-productive. So if you wanted to buy a Gurth from us, it would have to be heroic. :P

We've been honoring offers for just the Heroic Madness kill achievement alone for 50k, so a Gurth wouldn't run you less than that, as a general idea.

RNG is RNG. We've had this happen to us several times with different loots of course until someone who actually needs something is in the raid. For instance, we had 2-3 Souldrinkers drop every raid for several weeks while the only guy who still needed it was on vacation, and of course when he returned it stopped dropping for a month. GG RNG. :P

But we have no use for Flaya blood. >_>

On a serious note, no one is obligated to buy anything, this was a general notice since I've been getting a lot of inquiries.

Ack. Sadly, 50k is too rich for my blood; I've never come close to having that much money in the game. If I did, I'd have my sandstone drake by now. :(

Ah well, back to Raid Finder for me, then. Nine more tries, at least. :)

I wouldn't mind 20k even if it was for the meta achieve mount.

I highly doubt anybody would take a week off to do normal achieves (since its easier to carry someone through norm) versus selling another drake @ 50k. I could be wrong, of course.

Considering the trouble they have to go through to potentially (actually more than likely) carry a person through the raid on heroic, 50k is if anything cheap. I am sure Spine would be a PITA to do with a person to carry, because every man counts on that fight.

Not to mention Madness. Aside from that, they have to break away from their normal farming group and potentially achievement farming to let a single person join in. It's a lot of sacrifice for the entire raid, therefore a high price is more than justifiable.

Besides, anyone left on this realm has likely been here for years and has stockpiles of gold to blow.

I generally suck @ assembling transmog sets (I just mogged the Plaguelands set Death Knights received at 58th level, and Blizzard put that look together for me...), though I may see about cobbling something together. Thing is, raid achievements don't mean much to me save mounts they provide, and I have the only mount I'm likely to want as a Death Knight for the foreseeable future after having gotten my frostwyrm from ICC recently. The title would be neat, but I'd functionally be paying 100k for a title and a sword that'll become obsolete in 2 months. I can think of better uses for 100k personally, and I still have 9 chances of getting Gurthalak from Raid Finder before MoP launches.

Besides, I just want it so I can have a stat-appropriate sword to mog into Quel'Delar. >.> Blizzard won't let me mog my axe into a sword. :(

But I may yet enter the contest; I have a few days yet to put something together. :)

Bahaha... this was my warrior's problem, except with maces. I've long given up on getting a sword. I'll find some green ones in MoP. Poor Abaddon... never to be mogged... ;_;
