Hello! My fiance and I are looking for a guild.

About Our Characters:
I have 2 level 85 healers (Druid and Priest) and he has several level 85s (Tank/DPS/Heals). I have experience healing raids in early Cataclysm and LFR (yuck!) and he has experience DPSing since vanilla, including early Cata content and later LFR. He is interesting in gaining experience in raid tanking.

About Us in RL:
We are 21+ and friendly. We enjoy helping our guildies out and are NOT jerks. We don’t enjoy playing with bratty children (but under-aged mature players are fine). We both have busy schedules during the work week, but do usually find time to play almost every day. I also go to college full time. We both like to goof off and have a good time, but prefer a more mature, socially aware group.

What We Want:
We are looking for a guild that does 10man raids and intends to continue through MoP. We're not looking for a hardcore group but rather one that we can enjoy playing the game with as we progress. We prefer weekend raiding, but other times that fit our schedule are fine too. We are looking for LIKE MINDED PLAYERS. This means: Casual, laid back and friendly, but also goal-oriented. Maybe, "Progressive Casual" is a good way to put it? We want to get our money’s worth of this game and see the content while it is still hot (although we also like going back through old content as well). Any guild PVP is a plus. We like to PVP on the side – Battlegrounds, Arena, Rated Battlegrounds, but this is not necessary. Just a plus.

We were on hiatus until earlier this summer when we returned and joined a great group of players. However, we're finding ourselves a bit more ambitious and the guild just doesn't quite fit anymore.

We prefer to find something on CC-Alliance, but please do not hesitate to post if you aren't on CC-Alliance. We are willing to relocate for the right group.

Join allianceooc and visit with people. They can usually help you find what you're looking for.

Do you rp at all or are you interested?

Phoenix or Sanctuary Garden sounds like a nice spot for you two. Especially Sanc Garden if you're at all interested in RPing.

Oh if you RP, Pia has a 10man raid team. We're all like RAWR YOU DIE NOW! and they fall over. It's true. Heh heh. Plus, we engage in world pvp and bgs for fun. But we are an RP guild first and foremost so if that's not a part of the game you want to engage in... yeah.

Seriousness aside though, you should really jump into the allianceooc channel so that we can get to know you and learn more of what you want. It's funny you didn't mention RPing. That's a really big part of our server (it is an RP server afterall) so getting into that channel will help us go... welcome or are you sure you want to be on this server? Not to dissuade you from joining us or anything but RP is a huge part of our identity as a server.

We don't really RP, no. But that doesn't mean I dislike it. It's just not why we play. We joined an RP server because we found the people were more mature and friendly.

*perks at the sound of the tiny gnome voice*

Oh that's okay. There are plenty of immature and mature in our RP community and outside it. For just a raiding guild though, you'll have to look around. Many of our non-RP guilds keep a lower profile than the RP guilds on this server. Maybe check GuildOx or World of Logs to see if someone is a little too hardcore for you. Doubtful, we're a very slow raid server, but you never know what surprises might tick up after spending some time around.

If you change your mind about the RP, definitely talk to any of us in AllianceOOC (I still recommend you do because there is a wealth of server knowledge there that you can borrow) because most of us RPers are a friendlier sort of bunch.

*hoofs off with an icicle in her mouth debating what would be a good flavor to combine it with and sell as summer treats in this heat wave*

The Other Side is a positive, easy going and friendly guild which has also been fortunate to have experienced some raiding success. We have two raiding group, and are currently 6/8 heroic Dragon Soul.

Gnoam, Sanctuary Garden is an excellent guild as are the others mentioned. CC is a good server, with some quality people here. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Do join allianceooc and just get to know people. Folks often ask in there for help in various raids also, so you usually have something to do if you want even if your guild raids.
