Hi there! I am looking for a guild for my gnome warlock Sizzle. I am new to RP and am hoping there is a patient RP guild out there that I could join to learn RP as I lvl for MoP.

Hi Sizzle, and welcome to RP! I'd recommend typing /join allianceooc to meet the other regular Alliance RPers. Talk with them to figure out what the personality of your Warlock is like, and there's a near-guarantee that you'll be pointed at a great guild to meet your needs. There are some amazing RP guilds on our entire realm, and definitely Alliance-side, so I'm looking forward to meeting you in the channel!
Going to second Ragefang. Look around at some of the people and really introduce your character. You may also want to go into the Blue Recluse in the evenings to get your feet wet and see what some of us have to offer.
Yeah, I came into this thread to say the same thing as Ragefang, AllianceOOC is a great place to meet other RPers and get introduced into the community. Warlock Gnome
Age 37
Sizzle began her arcane studies as a young gnome. She could conjure up consumables and elements but was never satisfied. She felt like something was missing.
When the attack on Gnomeregan began, she wanted to help with the fight but ended up breathing in too much radiation. She was forced to use the Sanitron 500 and leave her home to the Troggs.
Sizzle began questioning her focus on the arcane. Would her gift for conjuring be put to better use summoning minions to aid in her fight to save her beloved Gnomeregan? She commenced her studies in the darker side of magic during her stay in Ironforge. She became fascinated with summoning different minions and their specialized abilities.
Sizzle also focuses her energies creating items to assist in her fight. She creates explosives and potions of all types to aid her in bringing an end to those pesky Troggs.
She blames her constant hot feet on a side effect caused by the Sanitron 500, so Sizzle is often found walking barefoot. The trauma she faced has caused her some anxiety, paranoia, and a strong dislike for the colour green. She internalizes this and only displays it should she become highly stressed or frustrated.
Sizzle, although ‘smart with what she knows’, has a terrible sense of direction and often gets lost. No longer able to teleport her way out of a cave, Sizzle depends on tinkered inventions to get her home safely.

I also suggest to check out cenarioncircle.org for guild and event listings, as well as the stickies on this forum here. As big as allianceooc is, it does not have all the big RP guilds on the server in it, so you may be missing out on a good one if you only go by that channel. Shop around!
