The thin, dark haired Sin’dorei triple checked the ties on her bags before taking one last look at the walls that had been her home for the last 18 years. It was an odd feeling, to be leaving after so long, but it was what she had to do. This place no longer held anything for her. She thought she might return…someday.
Mounting her Hawkstrider she set off for the world, not caring much where she ended up. She just needed to get away, to find something that would fill this hole.
She was an unassuming young woman, black hair which she kept short. Pale skin from lack of sunlight, her eyes may have been brown once but the green glow hid that color now. A small scar above her left eye was the only thing that marred her complexion. Faded now, years after the incident that had caused the scar.
She traveled for years, never staying in one place too long for fear she would get attached. Her training came in handy on more than one occasion. Killing was an art that she took to with ease. Not caring who your employers were made sure you got fed, even if it held a risk most would avoid.
It was pure chance that she saw a flyer posted in Orgrimmar, she was hungry, starving even. It had been weeks since her last job and was desperate for something, anything that would put coin in her pocket.
The Anytime, Anywhere Messenger Service is now accepting applications! If you've always wanted to travel the world, meet new people, and wear a snappy white uniform, now's your chance!
“Anytime, Anywhere Messenger Service…” It definitely wasn’t her usual line of work. It didn’t sound like they needed anyone dead or something stolen. She finished reading the flyer, what stuck out the most was the Immediate Wages part. She needed the coin, and badly. It can’t hurt to talk to them. She made a mental note of who to contact and quickly set out to ask around.
It felt odd, having a mission a purpose. Granted, it wasn’t anything earth shattering, searching for an AAMS courier, but it made her feel…almost better. It took less time than she thought to get a hold of the company. She eventually found her way to Brill, why the Goblin choose that of all places confused her, but she had been in worse.
The young Goblin was cranky. Went by the name of Kezrin, the Elf sensed…something about her, she wasn’t sure what it felt almost like magic, but she brushed it off as paranoia.
“So, Telirra, why do ya wanna join AAMS?”
“Well…”
