I've talked to multiple people, both sides, who are interested in trying to pvp at Halaa in order to get the tokens for the talbuk mounts. Trying to advertise in trade isn't very successful, so I was wondering what people, both alliance and horde, would think about having a regular time to go meet up in Halaa and smackdown. This would not be RP, though I'm sure people could form stories and plot around it. This would be strictly pvp, with the intent of collecting tokens and turning them in for the mounts. A couple questions:

How long should the "pvp" time span be? 1 hour? 3 hours?
What days would be ideal for most people, and what time of day?

If you're at all interested in this idea, please respond! If you have suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

Update: I'm gonna give this a try, setting the official time for Saturdays, from 2-4pm server time! During this time, come to Halaa and battle it out!

Sure. Being a mount collector, I have been wondering how to go about getting enough tokens for them for... well, since Wrath came out ;)

I'd always be willing to have a nice smackdown. Need to catch up to Belpha on the mounts SOMEHOW.

I'd come. Did it a while back and have ~90 or so tokens sitting in my bank just gathering dust.

Okay, neat! I'd like to encourage people to spread the word about this and hopefully get some more interest. As of right now, my preferred time for doing this would be on saturdays, from maybe 2-4pm? That way we have a 2 hour time slot where anybody interested could show up and hopefully find others looking to clash and collect tokens.

That's something I can get behind.

Thanks for letting me shoot at you for a while! I'm stumped as to how I am supposed to kill Priests now, but that was fun anyway.

EDIT: I could think of an interesting plot based around the fact that the Horde and Alliance use the city as a research station.

Yeah, no problem. And don't feel bad. Priests are apparently very, very OP right now. If you ever wanna come and smack against me a while, try to figure out some tactics, I'd be more than happy to help you out.

As for the plot, that can definitely happen. I just want to make it very clear that from 2-4pm, it'd be strictly pvp. While I think rp-pvp is really interesting, it's difficult to manage in an open world environment. This isn't the thread to get into lengthy discussion about past events, however. <3 But yes, feel free to start some plot around this!

Edit: Just so people know, I've put up advertisements for this on the Farstriders, Sisters of Elune, and Blackwater Raiders forums, as we are cross-realm with them. Hopefully we'll get some interested parties from those realms, too!

I think the idea time for Halaa pvp would be all day, every day.

Hi a friend and I are coordinating a pvp kill event so that people can farm efficiently for their Dark Talbuk pvp mountsBoth factions are welcome. Battle starts @ 7pm pacific (8GMT) tonight and will be ongoing. The plan is to group up after each group of kills with each faction taking turns at the slaughter. You should have your mounts within a couple of hours. We will have both Raid Leaders in vent to coordinate.When all is done maybe we can have some old fasion pvp fun after :) for those who want more.We will be taking advantage of cross realm invites as well.

I went today, and when I wasn't being corpse camped, it turned out to be a ton of fun! I got close to 80 tokens out of it.
