Some folks may be familiar with a website named WarcraftRealms.

For those who don't...it's a pretty handy website that tracks server census and character history use of an addon called CensusPlus.

The addon was recently upgraded for Mists and is available via Curse.
Use of the addon does require creating an account on the website. The addon is pretty simple to use, <5 minutes to run, doesn't affect game play or performance. Later, after you log out of the game you go to the upload page on the website, upload the file and you're done.

Back up there on that link to the server stats, off to the right, in green and red text is 137/19. That number 19 in red? That is the number of times a Horde census has been uploaded in the last 30 days.
Yeah.
Not so great, huh?
12 of those 19 were me.

I was doing this back before my account went down back in April. I always found it so interesting to see on the addon's interface the general make-up of races/classes and how they changed over time. I'll be taking it up again now that I'm back. ^^
