You might want to add that in order to even USE the mount, you have to be exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serpent and the August Celestials.

You know, using the crystal doesn't guarantee a tag of Alani anymore. That was removed when MoP went live, according to wowhead when I looked it up for myself. Unless it was recently changed back, of course.

This is true, just don't go derp mode and announce in general chat you're killing him, and should be fine

They fixed the tag issue in the lastest hotfixes. Was on MMO front page.

It is no longer possible for other players to tap Alani in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms while the Sky Crystal is being channeled.
