Yep! I'm thinking about writing a Du Bois style discourse on the 'state of the Gilnean mind' to start this off.

Btw, when will you be on tonight?

I'm working under the assumption that everyone knows what actually happened. We're not going to be reciting lore here, or distorting the factual account of what happened. Or at least, Ferenold isn't going to be!

We are going to be discussing and debating the effect of the Worgen Form on Gilnean society - whether it was an inevitability, whether Gilneans as humans inherently possess a 'wolf-spirit', whether it is possible to feel the same vitality as humans - and if so, if that would be necessary had the curse not fallen over Gilneas. Just a few things we'll explore - there are many more as well.

Oh ok. Well in that case, I won't show up because IC Galo considers the worgen form a blessing from Goldrinn rather than a curse, and I think his ideals will most likely be un-welcome at this assembly ICly.

I don't necessarily think so. The assembly is made for both those that embrace the form and call it a blessing, those that repudiate it completely and believe it to be curse, and all levels in between. Just because Ferenold's opinions on the worgen form tend to lean toward it being a curse definitely doesn't mean those that embrace the form are unwelcome.

I know for a fact that several people in my guild will be attending that have characters whom believe the worgen form to be a blessing.

I probably should ask... how does MG time translate over to Mountain Time?

I've forgotten.... and DST switches wreak havok on my ability to plan for things.

That threw me off at first as well. I was up in arms and about to make an IC rage-post about how Ferenold is just another one of those humans - plotting against the Kal'dorei and salivating for the day that they can take over a purposely weakened Night Elven state - who needed to be chased out of Darnassus with all due prejudice.

Then I read that it actually is open to everyone, and that certain people are just VIPs.

Uh, I was not mad. I was just asking. Still, thanks for the clarification.

Non-afflicted humans that are not Gilneans are allowed to come. They're just not explicitly invited IC.

Ferenold's a reactionary, racist, nationalistic jerk - but he most certainly is not an imperialist of any type. He actually generally favors decreased cultural contact between the Kaldorei and the humans. He tends to sympathize most strongly with very consservative Kaldorei, after all. States work best in general isolation.
