As it says I have finally made the decision to retire from pvp. It took a lot of lumps to the head to finally sell my gear, but as it stands I just can't cut it anymore with the current pvp world. I never was great at it to begin with, but as many knew in the past I was Always there. Defensive calls were my favorite thing to do in the old days and I would answer just about every one of them if I could. I use to joke about how many teleport stones I used in one day to judge how busy it was( I think the most was 34 teleports, 5 hearths and 4 engy transports in one day).

Wouldn't matter if it was one person or ten, I would still show up no matter the level difference or the odds. Now though with the way things are there is no need for defenders anymore( Aside from Honor Hold and Ugh, goldshire) and city attacks rarely happen anymore. Plus to be honest, I just don't get any joy out of pvp like I use to even on the days when I get smashed to the ground(which was a lot).

I could get into why I feel that way, but I don't want to rant because that will get nowhere.

I'm not quitting the game, just the part that had me going for six years. I'll still be around, just won't jump when I see World Defense go off like I use to. Maybe in the next xpac or something I will take more asprine and try it again, afterall I still have yet to hit my 50k world kill mark.

It has been fun, I've fought alongside you on both Maethi and then later on Ettin, and you are you are a great pvper. I know how you feel for I myself am losing interesting answering calls and I can't do battlegrounds as much as I used to.

Maybe sometime we can fight alongside each other again.

Well, it's depressing, of course. To be honest, I haven't really been that interested since MoP came out. However, we shall rise up again. Take a break and we'll get back in the swing.
