Abon walked up to Gentyl, munching on a candy-covered apple. "Hey, Miss Gentyl."
Gentyl looked up from her papers. "Hello, Abon. Are you sure you need all that sweet stuff?"
"Just finished ball practice. We need to replace all that energy. Did you know gnomes are the most energetic race of all?"
"Well, I had guessed that might be true. How did your ball game go?"
"Smoked 'em. Dumb dwarves didn't have a chance."
Gentyl set the paperwork aside after Abom jumped up on the desk. "Be nice. Don't call people dumb"
She licked some of the candy from her fingers. "Some people deserve it. I was at the faire and this troll was running around, clutching his head and screaming. I asked one of the workers what he was screaming about and she told me he lost his hair."
"Lost his hair?"
Abon nodded. "Yup. So, I ran around and around and around, screaming 'Hair Raid! Hair Raid!"
Gentyl groaned.
"Oh, speaking of things that make you groan. Your husband was there."
Gentyl frowned. That wasn't like him at all. "The Commander? What was he doing at the faire?"
"No, your other husband. The skinny one with maggots."
"So, did the troll find his hair?"
