The Royal Library Presents [Horde RP Guild]
Well, he thought of it. So it was up to him to handle the preparations this time.
The auction had brought in a lot of traffic, and word was starting to spread about the library. So, he decided to go all out, and in a big way.
Having retrieved the list of frequent guests from Archivist Dawnsong, Fastice Blackblade set to work with a quill and ink, which would happen to be more difficult than he initially anticipated. But once he finally had a final draft, he gave it to a scribe, to be copied dozens of times and sent off among the usual mailing list, a few new names he had added himself, and to be pinned up around Silvermoon and The Undercity.
((Edited because I'm a dummy and got the time wrong.))

The Royal Library Presents,
A night of fun, companionship, and friendly competition in the form of a scavenger hunt throughout Eversong Woods and The Ghostlands. Festivities will begin at 5 P.M. Directly underneath Thallasian Pass, the tunnel which leads from The Ghostlands to The Eastern Plaguelands.
Participants will receive a clue from Guardian Fastice Blackblade, which they must decipher, and follow to the next location, and so on and so forth, until all have the chance to solve the mystery, and unearth the final clue.
The first lucky soul to decipher the mystery will receive a grand prize of precisely One Thousand Gold pieces, in one lump sum, at the end of their journey. Other prizes may be awarded for runners-up as well, so give it your all regardless of if someone has already completed the task!
When: Sunday December 1st, 5 P.M.
Where: Thallasian Pass in The Southern Ghostlands
Dress Code: Casual, though an emphasis on Comfort is recommended!
Refreshments will be provided at the gate until it seems we have plenty of participants, at which point the hunt will commence.
We look forward to seeing you all there!

Morgana looked at the notice, sighed and got out of her desk. She paced to the window and looked out at the bustling Elven city "I knew this day would come..." She mused to herself. "I'll have to talk to people and interact with them...Ugh!" She said in a worried tone.
"Oh no!"
Spriggel glanced between the undecorated Pilgrim's Progress tree sitting in the lobby of the Ironforge AAMS office and the notice of the exciting Scavenger Hunt. She paced back and forth between the tree and her desk trying to decide how she was going to get both things done in one day.
"I'll just have to decorate the tree fast. I better check that the turkey ornaments will arrive on time." She knew it would take several hours to hang-tie the live birds to the tree branches; if they arrived late she might not have time to get up north in time.

((Can't wait for this! We just did the walk through with Fastice. I think this is gonna be fun! Hey Fastice I needs muh clues!))
Gezelda sighed as she plopped down to her desk to write the notice for this weeks Salons. Man, was she ever bummed out! She didn't really feel like a party, or a shindig or even a get together! Maybe something subdued and comfy...maybe like a Goblin Sunday dinner!
Hey everyone! I know last week some of you were bummed to hear that Beni's not running the Sunday Salons no more! And I know this time of the year can be frantic for most of us! So I thought we'd have a nice Sunday dinner! Everyone's invited, bring your appetite and smile! In Goblin culture its' customary to start the week off with a nice big meal. It's a way of mingling and connecting with your family (also to trade some business tips).

((I might miss this one Gez! I'm trying to get my game files installed on my new computer but it's taking longer than anticipated. Good luck if I don't make it!))
((That's ok! I might be having tentacle difficulties as well. there are internet woes here!))
((Tentacle difficulties would be a good name for a rock band...Anyway, if I can show up late I will! Half way through my wrath install as I type this.))
So, I was pokin' around the library stacks when I noticed a little hidden treasure! It wasn't even locked up, just layin' on a stack of boring papers! The treasure you ask? Why it's a business ledger form none other then the famous Goblin entrepreneur Fitz "Bling" Servo! I know I know! The Royal Libraries gotta take better care of their treasures! Anyway this little beauty is gonna be the centrepiece of this weeks salon!
The royal library presents a night of business discussion with a focus on the changing landscape of business. (in the horde, I got no clue about those wacky Alliance peeps!) The centrepiece of this night will be a ledger from the famed Goblin entrepreneur Fitz "bling" Servo. Also, there will be his favourite appetizer, Gold flecked snail puffs. So join the library for a night of delicious food and tasty discussion!

Archivist Poesy made another round through the cavernous halls of the Undercity branch. No matter where she looked, her book of portable napkins/toilet paper was nowhere to be found! How was she to eat--and later digest--her lunch of brain pate between two lightly toasted slices of brain without making a mess?
With a sigh, the archivist made her way to the bottom-most level of Undercity branch where a vast collection of goblin business ledgers, bequeathed to the Library by Trade Princess Polly Picker Pocket, was stored. After a few moments of testing paper quality, Poesy selected a volume and shuffled off, whistling.

((Curse you Poesy! At any rate I might be late getting on due to weather. So please be patient with me!))
((I'll actually be able to make it this week! Pretty excited for it too. (: ))
((So glad to hear it Fastice!))
What time, so I know when to drag my behind from Pandaria, heh - I didn't see a time anywhere.

A tentative knock came at the basement door, breaking Poesy's intense concentration. With a snarl, she threw up her hands which were drenched in paste. The sudden motion stirred a flurry of shredded paper around her.
"Much open!" Poesy shouted.
As an intern tip-toed down the stairs to the archivist's office, Poesy turned back to her paper mache ... snowman? Goat? Poesy had taken up the delicate art of paper mache after a visit from Archivist Dawnsong, who gently suggested that Poesy ought to pay more attention to the collection of goblin business ledgers in her charge.
Poesy was sure that Archivist Dawnsong would be much impressed by her series of handmade pinatas.
"Um... That's a nice... Uh... Dolphin?" The intern canted his head at Poesy's latest creation. Poesy scowled. The intern gulped and said, "Sorry! Sorry. Um. Uh. I'm just here to deliver an invitation to this week's salon, archivist! Pleasedon'teatme!"
Poesy gasped, spotting the scroll between the intern's hands. "Ah! Ahhh! Very thanks!" Nodding rapidly, she flashed her razor-bladed teeth at the intern with her most winsome smile. The intern dropped the invitation on Poesy's desk and ran off, overcome by joy, perhaps?

((Gezelda would be dying if she knew! You are killing her!))
I just wanted to thank everyone who could make it! I can't even believe I was able to despite the ice storm that hit my city. Happy holidays everyone! Next Weeks event posting will be up either later today or early tomorrow, as I will be away from my precious internetz for the next 2 days!
