The other day I was in Org, just doing my sales and rep my gear. Some one screams troll in the tail. I figure I'll go watch for kicks and giggles.

What I say ICly wise was just amazing.. Kor'kron runs a goblin through with his sword.. for trying to make a Dark Spear go back to their part of their city. Now after running a blade through the goblin what does he do? Kindly asks the troll to go back to his part of the city. This here is an example of fail.

Now abuse is a far more touchy item to point out. A level 8 - lets say 60 character. Claiming to be one of the elite of the orc guard. The reason I went as high as 60 is because I've seen death knights saying they are Kor'kron.

Yes I know the saying level should not play a role in RP. But when a person has spent years building their character.. their story their reasons.. and some one spends 2 days leveling an alt with a wordy MRP.. that annoys me.

Now you can tell me I QQ to much, but honestly... for the sake of our servers RP integrity.. People who RP being the elite of the orcish guard.... should at least need to be 80 or higher. I'm tired of lvl 22 chars telling mine what to do.

Also if your going to jump on me for being a DK I RPed him once in Org, and like a good little prisoner he did as he was told. He is a remake of my shaman.. I wont bother you with the story but blah blah blah.. I leveled him.. hes now a DK so im leveling him too.

If there is a Kor'Kron who is an obvious super bad just ask him to leave you alone in whispers, or ignore him. Same has to be done for Kor'Kron dealing with super bad 'rebels' in Orgrimmar. There is abuse of nearly everything in this game, can't avoid it really.

And I agree that not just everyone should go Kor'Kron. I made Skrend one when 5.3 dropped, seeing as how it looked as if Hellscream was recruiting every able bodied Warrior into it's ranks that weren't already deployed in Pandaria. Skrend was in Org at the time that 5.3 dropped, and is an experienced RPer so I felt it fit. And for the back story mark, been RPing on him since BC.

Anyways, I ditched the whole Kor'Kron gig because I was sick of unsatisfying RP night after night . I do appreciate the rebels who do it right, staying out of Org and not assulting Kor'Kron in front of the Org barracks then mounting fliers and flying away as soon as they were even slightly in trouble. Yes that happened nearly every day.

This whole patch brought a lot of great RP and conflict, but with a bunch of RP conflict often comes a bunch of headaches. It seems we will all just have to deal with them. I'm tired and keep typing so I'm just gonna make myself stop.

Oh, trust me, on other RP servers the Kor'Kron Groups have become the new Scarlet Crusade.

Kor'kron RPers should remember that the most important part of RP is consent. The only way to construct a compelling conflict is if both parties are involved.

"But we're a gang of thugs in a city on lockdown!" some might argue. "Wouldn't it make sense for us to go around abusing our power?"

Yes, it would, in any other story. But we need to make exceptions for the medium. This is a cooperative storytelling. If not everyone is cooperating, then it becomes hostile and no one wants to play.

I Rp my warlock as a Kor'kron subjugator, and when interacting in an authoritative manner i try to make sure all parties involved are ok with this. I also never kill, injure, or capture a character without consent. You want to escape halfway through? lets work something out. You don't mind an injury, then i will fight as that calls for. You fully intend to die? How do you want to die, i take requests.

I have had several people contact me specifically when they wanted throw away characters offed in a respectful or specfic manner.

When i rp i try to make sure everyone has fun, that isnt always what happens but i try.

Perhaps I should form my own guard force that goes around being all brutal 'n such!

RP integrity huh? I didn't recall people having to be a high level as a requirement for RP regardless of what they RP.

Also not all Kor'Kron/Rebels are bad, it's a few that are over doing it. A lot of the Kor'Kron I try to keep in touch with are pretty nice people and I am 'trying' to plan RP with. All issues on my part.

I believe roleplayers need to keep their characters tied to the world they live in.

I hate it when people try to break game mechanics in the name of RP...

But it's going to be interesting to see what happens with the Kor'Kron, both NPCs and PCs, after this expansion.

Likely the Kor'Kron will be disbanded, and players who've RPed as Kor'Korn will be shunned ... even moreso than they have been.

... er ... no, sorry. It's your own fault for looking at the other person's level instead of getting into the story.

I recommend shutting names and nameplates off.

I can refer you to a Goblin that sells discounted Shaark-proof suits. Mine has worked well so far, though I haven't had a chance to test it yet.

Indeed. You can't force someone to go along with your RP. Someone doesn't want to play along? Move on, find others that are like-minded and have a willingness to join your plot. Don't rage or badger others because they don't want to. Then again, if they want to be a part of it and aren't willing to stay within the setting you have you can also tell them to take a hike too. It works both ways.

For me it's not so much the level of the character as is the audacity of someone trying to control my actions. Who made them so special? It certainly wasn't me and there's no way I'm going to listen to them.

I don't care what level someone is.

Would have found the Kor'Kron being nice to the troll, with what's been going on, much stranger than his level. Also the potential of killing someone's character without their consent.
