Nyuula strode along the cobblestone streets of the glorious city of Stormwind (Her home for quite a few years now.) The sun shone down on the fine jewel of the alliance. The shy was as still and blue as the ocean. The Draenei mage was headed towards the Dwarven district, to pick up some elementium for an experiment or two. As she walked, Nyuula had her face buried in her friends copy of My You're a Tall One: the Touch of Is Bee, the story was very thrilling and the 'action' scenes...enthralling. She was smiling to herself as she thought about her new friend, Sizy. Between the reading and thoughts of Sizy she failed to pay attention to where she was going.
Tales of stormwind
There are few robes as frightening and beautiful as the Plague Doctor's garb. The robes are silky smooth on the inside, crushed velvet on the outside with this particular set made in the setting sun color palette of purples and blacks. The bird face was not necessarily a real skull even though it was modeled after one, but was identical in every way except that it was made of wood. Like false teeth, but a beak.
Dolingen walked down the street with her Succubus helping to hold up a banner proclaiming that demons are animals too. Some of them sentient enough to possess feelings and thought. Behind them paraded a cluster of imps holding up apples and pumpkins and other fruits and drinks to offer passerbys with flyers of the upcoming PETD (People for the Ethical Treatment of Demons) fundraiser. Her felpup chased a ball she tossed through the street and offered people the badges attached to his quills if they were interested. People liked free things.
But the succubus, long and slender, muscles taut and hard, oozed the sensuality her kind were known for tempting the sailors and merchants (men and women alike) with her little black dress. A dress that revealed more leg than necessary and perhaps a stiletto or two strapped to her thighs, instead of the trademark whip. Although the silver chain around her neck that hung low in her deep scoopline could be taken off to function as one if necessary.
The metallic weeze of the VerbalVocalizer that allowed Dolingen to talk echoed in the streets and she tried halting her crew when she noticed a Draenei not paying attention as she rounded a corner and into her group's banner. She cursed as the imps stopped their friendliness to glare. They'd worked really hard on it.
Silly prey, fall into trap and we eat her now. Her Demon said inside her head and Dolingen banished her to the recesses of her mind to sleep. It was not yet time to let her Demon be alpha.
Please oh please, don't have a tear in it, Dolingen prayed.

Nyuula looked up from her book when she walked through the banner, tearing it clean in half. She looked up to see herself surrounded by demons and looking straight at an angry bird lady. "Fascinating" She mumbled to herself as she looked around to make sure she hadn't stepped through a portal to some Fel lands. Again! Once she determined she was still in Stormwind she looked around at the banner that her carelessness had destroyed "Oh I am so sorry! I didn't mean to disrupt your...parade?" She said in a perplexed tone.
The Draenei... She... oh Light, Doli couldn't bring herself to say it, but the banner was destroyed. Her imps worked hours trying to color in the lines and spelling all the words correctly on it and now, all of their work was ruined. Imp tempers are not the best thing in the world to be a victim of and Doli could see some of their eyes already starting to glow with fire and other trickster maliciousness. With a bit of hesitation because she hated to sing in public, she began singing the imps' favorite song.
"A whole new world. A new fantastic point of view..."
Almost immediately, the imps began to sing along in their croaky voices. The words coming out slightly worse for wear if they had been shoved into a blender with rusty nails and broken hearts.
"...No one to tell us no. Or where to go. Or say we're only dreaming. A whole new world..."
Their crooning continued and Doli offered the Draenei a hand to help her up.
"Would you care to join us miss?"
Yes, invite her to join us so we can eats her. Can smell her confusion and maybe an undercurrent of woodiness like what you say it called...
"Bewilderment," Doli thought.
That it. Like fear but not so pungent. Mean she be super tasty. We would be happy with this offering if you let us taste her.
"We're not going to eat her. We're trying to convince people demons aren't a threat to them." The thought rattled in her head with Demon laughing.

Nyuula accepted the hand and got back on to her feet. "Again, I am so sorry! I guess I was distracted by my book. That and trying to calculate the exact explosive force required to crack a standard issue Horde warship's hull." She said as she dusted herself off. "Um, I must help you to repair your banner, it is the least I could do!" Nyuula seemed to not really notice all the demons, or at least wasn't that unnerved by them.
The imps and other demons had moved from singing A Whole New World to A Spoon Full of Sugar and Dolingen didn't try to immediately dissuade them as she pulled out some thread and wax to use for the repairs. Dropping her mask, Dolingen pulled the scarf over her nose to block out the waxes smell when it began to melt. She offered the Draenei the wax to seal the thread after she sewed it back together.
Tugging the scarf back down around her neck, she smiled. "Thanks, they probably would have lost it. They spent a lot of time working on this banner and they are super proud of how well they did even though they missed the lines."
Before the Draenei could respond, Ivy slipped up behind her. The sensuous succubus slid her hands along the thigh and arms, trying to caress the blue skin.
"Oh mistress, I haven't had one of these in such a long time. Can I please give her a kiss?"
Dolingen sat back on her heels, flabbergasted and incapable of speech. Frozen, while watching.

Nyuula straightened up and nearly jumped in shock. That feeling subsided as the Succubus laid her hands on her, working their was up Nyuula's sides. She tried to gather the words of protest in her mouth, but her breath failed her. She was rendered speechless, coming dangerously close to falling under the spell.
The Draenei sits helpless to the succubus's charms and wiles. Their skin tones match so perfectly together and Dolingen thinks they would make a good couple in a painting, but the look on the woman's face isn't ecstasy. Rising from her knees from working on the banner, she hands it off to the Imps and approaches. The muscles in her arm tenses as she winds backwards and slaps the succubus off the woman. Fury etching her face like the scarred wood of her mask. The refrain of Prince Ali (fabulous he) from the demons behind her comes to an abrupt stop.
"You will do no such thing unless told," her voice comes out in a whisper of metallic tin reverberating through the VerbalVocalizer.
"Now pick up your end of the banner and behave yourself or else I will not bind you when we get home."
Horror fills the winged woman's eyes.
"You wouldn't."
Without responding, Doli offers the Draenei a hand up. "I'm so terribly sorry about that. Sometimes Ivy gets a little handsy."

Nyuula shakes her head and takes the helping hand to get to her feet.
"Oh, wha, what happened?" she asked in a bleary tone, glancing around to the Succubus and her master Nyuula figures it out
"It appears as if my view on such Fel magics, and their users may have been wrong. You didn't have to save me, yet you did. Thank you" Nyuula bowed to the woman slightly. She walked over and continued to help with the banner. She waved her hand a produced a needle and tread from thin hair. Working quickly, she began to mend the tears with a masters skill and quickness.
"What is the purpose of this....banner, if I may be so bold to ask?"

Dolingen picked up her mask and re-affixed it on her face. The wood felt cool against her flesh and more importantly hid, the scars she was slowly growing more accepting of. Their exposure always left her feeling stripped when people glanced to her throat and mouth to see how they connected.
"We," she gestured to all of the demons and herself, "are trying to raise awareness that not all demons want to get into trouble and do harm. Some of them want to have fun and live normal lives."
She glanced at Ivy. "Well somewhat normal."
Demon crawled forward in Dolingen's mind, dragging her claws, causing her to flinch. Should give this one to Ivy. She need play thing. We watch and enjoy. Dolingen shook her head and frowned at Demon through her mind. Then she called out a barely comprehensible name that sounded more like gutteral sounds than words.
A small red skinned imp with a hook nose and hair worn in a bowl cut approached wringing his hands. His snappy suit of purple matching the rhinestone glasses he wore. He looked to his feet, kicked them before looking up at the bird mask.
"Yes, mistress."
"Grexel, tell this lovely woman what you want more than anything else in the world."
He nodded and swallowed visibly. Put his thumb into his mouth and blew to puff up his chest. The shift in his person changed instantaneously. His eyes sparkled. His shoulders rolled back in a confident stance that you would see in a Goblin business owner as he robbed you blind when he sold you a bottle of water in the middle of a desert.
"I'm gonna be the best purveyor of lava lamps this world has ever seen. Now you too can own a piece of Blackrock Mountain in your home without the fears of getting singed when you go to turn it off. Oh and I have a rock candy that tastes like the finest brimstone and felfire."
All of the demons behind Dolingen and Grexel began to salivate and offering their approval of the rock candy. A minor altercation breaking out between two overzealous Imps. Doli glared at them both and everyone stopped to look at her. The Imps standing and immediately straightening out their own clothes and apologizing. With an eye roll and sigh, she turned back to the Draenei.
"Would you care to join us?"
Demon howled in delight and a bit of the sound escaped Dolingen's lips.

Nyuula rubbed her chin.
"Fascinating! I've never spent any time with demons! Only in an adversarial sense."
She was speaking in a very excited tone, darting from demon to demon, examining them and jotting down notes on a pad of a paper that seemed to appear from nowhere.
"What is your average calorie intake?" She asked one imp.
"How many teeth do you shed?" She asked a felhunter. Nyuula flitted about and gathered as much information as she could.
"Perhaps I was wrong about demon kind, clearly they aARE sentiant creatures, with a will of their own....fascinating..."
