Nyuula bent down to give Sizy a huge, before taking the snow cone happily. "So, it's a showdown over you, Hmm that sounds romantic in a way..." she joked giving Sizy a light squeeze. "And to answer your question, I don't think that our kind cannibalizes our enemies. I've never heard of it happening!"
New to the server, looking for a home!
Fun.
This was fun again, because the elf wasn't boring. Obvious perhaps. Foolish for sure, but he fought doggedly and did not disappoint. For how long though? It was only a matter of minutes before his armor would crack under the extreme cold and heat transfers now that the disenchantment was wrapping up. Then what? He'd still stand there willing to fight, thinking he had what it took when even he was too young to understand the meaning of experience.
Oh, she laughed to herself from atop the iceberg. Visible again as she watched some of her familiars vanish from sight as they were impacted by their own weapons, while the two elementals absorbed the attack and growled hungrier and with the power frost fed them. He must of thought she was younger. Much younger.
Or perhaps he was suicidal. That's less fun though. And certainly boring. No, he was mistaken.
She laughed louder now. Calling the elf's attention to her position. She crossed her legs and folded her hands in her lap, speaking in his tongue.
"You fight well, if a tad bit obviously. It is all so familiar. Perhaps you could be more creative, like with the return volley. Besides how old are you child? Have you even met someone as experienced as me? I really am curious, because this ends only one way..."
An image stood behind the elf, identical to Izby down to the pores in her skin and she leaned forward to whisper in his ear.
"...with me walking away from you, back turned, and disappointed."
Meanwhile.
Another image appeared beside Nyuula and Sizy. A hand on their shoulders. "I will not eat him. That is not something we do as Nyuula said. The Small One is safe now in your hands, child?"

Waving that glorious gold-trimmed navy banner of the Alliance, Junior Medic Khromie Overspark ran into battle, gurgling murloc noises. By a small miracle, the pint-sized priestess managed to evade all of the blows and magics thickening the toxic air between Is Bee and Fattywing in spite of her reckless abandon.
Indeed, she hadn't even taken the time to change after toilet duty. Armored in nothing but her tricked out hazmat suit, the BronzeDragon 2000, Khromie made a beeline for Eeyore Fattywing, going for the jugular. Clinging to his face, she pressed the large, shiny red button on her helmet, shouting at the top of her lungs,
"BY FIRE BE PURRRRRGED!"
Alas, her suit was out of juice. A puff of black smoke burped out of her helmet's mechanical nostrils. There was only one thing left for her to do.
Khromie dropped from Fattywing's face and took a deep breath. Purpling with concentration, she cast the mightiest spell from her arsenal upon him.
Oh yeah, she would levitate the troll balls outta him.
[ Noola. I can't log back on. WoW is being a Noobwoon. <333 ]

((Tears of laughter Khromie. Tears of laughter. Love how you used all our little props I've been setting up in other threads.))
There was a dragon entering the foray. That was most certainly interesting. Exciting even. Then it called out Troll's Balls and Izby threw back her head and laughed. Of course, it was Khromie in a costume perhaps.
My how the gnomish people were so fascinating and exciting in their recklessness and joy. She laughed even more the Small One floated the elf up towards her with all her might. Izby leaned out off the wall staring down at the man.
"Tell me Eeyore, what sound do you make when you fall?"

Nyuula tried not to jump too much at the hand on her shoulder. She closed her eyes and exhaled lightly. "I would think that Sizy is safe, I mean to say that I will try my best to protect her." Nyuula said in a slightly waver y tone, trying her best to sound in control.
(OMG That was priceless Khromie! And that's ok I assumed wow was being bad when you just popped off!)
Clutching to Noola's side, Sizy hid behind her legs to avoid any explosiveness that might have come from her BronzeDragon 2000 suit malfunctioning with the low fuel indicator light on the side flashing its brilliant green warning. I probably should have used red, she thought as she tried to protect herself with her Blue's body.
Oh and Is Bee touched her, so of course, she had to squee really loud into the back of Noola's knee. Her grip may have gotten vice grip tight as well. Plus Khromie was being stupidly brave. Or bravely stupid. There would be time to run the equations later to see how that worked out in the end.
Then it struck her. She could convert her snow cone machine into an alternate fuel source for the BronzeDragon. With gnomish ingenuity and a bit of fiction, Sizy managed to build a snow propulsion pack and a fuel source for Khromie's suit. That way she could get in and out quickly.
"Noola, can you help me put the jetpack on and maybe a kiss for good luck?"
Okay so stupidly brave was the obvious answer.

Nyuula tried not to cry out when Sizy griped her leg like a little Gnomish vice. She watched as Sizy constructed some sort of propulsion device, she didn't like the looks of it, but with those two people fighting like that. She'd rather get Sizy out of here as quick as possible. She helped her to put on the jetpack, giving her shoulders a slight squeeze and a kiss for luck. "Be as careful as you can Sizy!"
He tossed his coat over a shoulder.
[...cut for brevity's sake...]
"Come then, Magistrix. And I will show you how I slaughtered your kin."
The old gnome strolled into the thread, having heard some ruckus about a newcomer, wanting to see things for himself.
...but after witnessing this display, the old gnome quietly picked up his tackle box, balanced his exquisite fishing pole over one shoulder, tipped his hat, and left the thread returning whence he came.
((Wow, Liore. Excellent writing. Props to Izby too! I had this audacious anime reel playing through my head as I read thanks to you both. That last line Liore, in the qoute...it made me shudder. :D /thumbsup ))
Sorry I've been absent, I had a death in the family last week =(.
I did end up moving my Hunter over since I found this server much more peaceful.

((I am humbled, Caileanmor. Thank you.
And I am terribly sorry to hear about the tragedy in your family. Words are usually insufficient when something so terrible happens, but I hope that peace you found stays with you at least, and allows you some measure of comfort.))
