Güten Tag CC. Ishapore here to let you know that <The Defenestrators> is looking for extra Ranged DPS, healers, or hybrids to round out our roster as Tier 15 winds down and Siege of Orgrimmar rears it's head.
About Us
We formed at the start of ToT as a collaboration of raiders from other guilds in order to sweep through NM and get as far into heroics as possible at a casual pace. Due to real-life issues, some of our core group indefinitely can't raid and that's putting a damper on nailing anymore heroic bosses. We believe capable players, with like-minded goals, are out here on CC to fill the void and want to strive to keep the rhythm going.
We currently run ToT on Mon./Tues. from 9-12 PST and are considering moving to a 3-night schedule pending availabilities and desired times.
As a raid itself, we attempt to have maximum raid-buff coverage (as much as a 10M can get) and utilize available resources to prime raiders on progression encounters. We endeavor to make the most of our 6 hours and try to clear trash/farm bosses quickly but not recklessly. 10/12 NM would be an ideal farm night for one session.
What are we looking for?
We are primarily looking for extra Ranged DPS (warlock is a plus), non-paladin/priest healers, or capable hybrids that are flexible with their DPS/H specs. We will naturally consider any outstanding players.
We expect you to have your finger on the pulse of your class as it copes with various content. You should be able to determine what talents/glyphs work best on certain encounters and know how to play your spec effectively. We are not here to teach Raiding 101 or Intro to Demonology. Trials need to be comfortable with thinking on their feet and anticipating the variables in a boss fight. Optimal enchants and reforges for your gear level should be on the back of your hand.
Already being geared is a plus but if you've been unlucky with item rolls and demonstrate that you can play your class effectively then we'll put you in. 100k+ sustained dps shouldn't be an issue for geared DPS candidates.
You are responsible for keeping yourself stocked with consumables. The guild bank isn't a store or your footlocker. You should be aware of how many potions/flasks/tomes you'll need in a given night and prepare yourself accordingly. Coming to a raid without consumables is like showing up without your trinkets equipped.
We intend on rotating certain people in and out for fights. You should be okay with being on deck for some fights due to group-optimization. But everyone will have their turn.
