A phenomenal thread. Information is the greatest weapon we have against the purple human menace.
How to roleplay a Night Elf.
Amazing thread, but I still cannot get into nelf lore. I still find troll lore one of my favorites. I am however, curious to see what you put down for relations with other races, specifically with that of dwarves and gnomes. Trolls too, but I have a good idea what it would say.
And here I thought that night elves respected their elders, sheesh. Poor trolls.

Fact: All female elves are homosexuals and all male elves are sex legends.
This means something.
EDIT: Filter
We know this to be true.
Race Relations has been added.
Very nice post, enjoyed reading it and was pleased it was more of a general overview of things then a direct 'Do's and Don'ts'.
However... I do not agree with your druid section dealing with the Grove.
Druids of the Grove are not so much a totem path as they are a group of druids lending their cause to the alliances forces. Diplomatic operations.
Also, I think it is an assumption that they revere Aessina due to the assumption that they are in fact healers.
Would also like to mention that it might be worth noting the the Druids of the Claw revere the Twin Bears and Druids of the Talon revere Aviana.

Druids of the Grove draw power from Aessina and use their power over nature to heal.

I was expecting this to be your typical "Your doing it wrong! You're all morons and don't RP the way I think you should!" threads. Needless to say I am pleasantly surprised. Very well done, I applaud you.
According to the WoWRPG Core Rulebook age table, Night Elves are considered adults at 300. They are considered middle-aged at 500 years, old at 650 years, and venerable at 700 years. Obviously, there are some Night Elves who have been around since before the Sundering, and it seems that these elves have retained their immortality. However, I figure you could count on one hand the number of elves that old, and as such they shouldn't be player characters.
The much more recent wow encyclopedia by Blizzard which puts adulthood at 100 years and that they can live for a varying period, between hundreds and thousands of years.
As for their weights, females weigh around 180lbs and males weigh around 190, this according to the height/weight tables.
What I did was take the average pounds per foot of a human, both female and male, and then add a bit of weight to account for the extra muscle.
A female elf averaging 180 pounds would be exceptionally thin as the average human male at 6 feet tall weight 180 pounds and they're a foot shorter. A male at 190 pounds, when standing 7.5 feet tall would equal a human man at 6 feet tall weighting 150 pounds.
Given the muscle mass of both genders, this would be impossible.

Ah, really? I haven't seen the encyclopedia. Is it online, or a print book?

This is assuming that human and Night Elf muscle mass is the same.
That is apparently not the case, if the WoWRPG book is to be believed - which it should be, because it's canon.
Somebody who stands 7'5" and weights 190 pounds is borderline unhealthy.
Unless... Oh god! Night Elves have hollow bones like birds!
