Why do people tend to make a note of whether any given race likes or dislikes Death Knights? Isn't it generally assumed that Death Knights will be held in disregard in the first place? At least until the individual Death Knight in question earns their keep?
How to roleplay a Night Elf.
I could not read your post, because a night elf was dancing on top of the mailbox that I get mail from.
In all seriousness now, that was a very well-written post. It inspires me to go out there and play my druid again. Too bad a "purple human" is all we'll ever get from 95% of the elf roleplayers, however :(

My recommendations are to change the Druid section.
Druids of the Claw revere Urso and Ursol, transforming into bears only.
Druids of the Talon revere Aviana and transform into stormcrows and other birds of prey.
Druids of the Fang turn into snakes.
Druids of the Pack turn into worgen, not wolves. They revere Goldrinn.
Druids of the Grove are a handful of druids trying to summon an ancient in Alterac.
Druids of the Antler are rumored to exist.
Cat, Moonkin, Aquatic, Tree of Life, all of these forms are tools of Druids of the Wild. They don't belong with any other sect of Druidism.
I think you brushed the Ancients and other Demi-gods off. They hold more sway over the Kaldorei than you give them credit, especially Cenarius, Ysera, and maybe Alexstrasza.
My thoughts exactly! Thank ya for writing it up.
I've added a link to this thread on my resources page for my upcoming guild here, Zin Dorei. http://zindorei.mmoguildsites.com/pages/rpresources
It seems to be the best comprehensive guide, although I have a feeling I will have to outline the differences between night elves studying magic, and highborne migrating from Eldre'thalas. Not all of the nuances and traits mentioned here apply to the highborne, and I may have to detail those differences in a separate article somewhere.
Otherwise, it's a great guide and as I said, I'm supporting the guide from my new guild.

Technically, the Highborne are a different culture. They come from the same source but are separate.
Changed the druid totems issue.
Melryria, can we make pretty night elf babies together?
Edit: I know how to cook kimchi and rice cakes.

Generally, but, at times, an explanation of why they are disliked is needed. I'm sure humans will hate Death Knights as much as night elves do, but for different reasons. They all revolve around "undeath is bad," but the elf's first reason shouldn't be something like "you destroyed Lordaeron," or something of that nature.

Your baby was already made... and it's not even an elf! :O
I can still cook!
Good post. I like that you mentioned the Night elves are xenophobic, not outright racist. Most Kal'dorei don't hate the other races, they are just wary of them. I see far too many Night Elf roleplayers being outright hateful to races that are HELPING them. Lets not forget both the Dwarves and the Gnomes are helping fight in Ashenvale and Stonetalon.

Pfft. You probably learn it from those Pilgrim washouts. I learned IN THE FIELD. I can make a five-star salad out of a bloody rock and toenails! TOENAILS.
You're point? Night Elves have a tendency to be racists, they're elves. I see far too many people bashing characters who're racists over the stigmatism placed on it in politically correct areas of the world.
You're just a ray of sunshine, aren't you? My point is that Night Elves (most of them, anyway) are supposed to be intelligent and have the wisdom that comes with thousands of years of life. It is neither smart nor wise to anger and exclude those who are offering to help you in a dire situation.
Gnome: "We can repair those glaive throwers the horde destroyed and help you fortify your outpost." Night Elf: "Screw off. We don't like your kind here." Orc: "This is too easy."
