((For the benefit of our sister realm))

In the cities of the Alliance - and occasionally in the cities of the Horde, a fluttering notice occupies small corners of billboards, or otherwise flutters about the streets. It's writing is a flowing cursive, elegant and at the same time mechanical, repeated with perfection on its other, light purple counterparts.

The Lunar Festival Ball

Now is the time when Elders awake, when we remember wars of our ancient past and celebrate our future. The Lunar Festival is upon us, and so is the Chimaera's second annual Lunar Festival Ball.

To be held in the boughs of Moonglade, west of the festival grounds, the ball will take place on the festival's tenth day - four and a half hours before high-moon. Drinks, food, fireworks, and a good time will of course, be provided. Members of the Alliance and the Horde are of course welcome to peacefully attend and celebrate, but at the behest of the Cenarion Circle, we do reiterate the circle's policy of zero tolerance toward violence.

Please address questions to Warden Kyalin Raintree.

((OOC to follow))

Yep... it's happening again.

The Lunar Festival ball will be held west of the festival grounds (left on your minimap) on February 25th at 7:30 PM (PST). We will have food, liquor, and fireworks so that you can all get drunk and set yourselves on fire... and all of that good stuff.

Yes, you also read the notice right - the Horde are invited to this one. We don't have official translators, but we are taking volunteers for that and for Horde-side coordinators (contact me if you're interested). Otherwise, this is a bring-your-own translator event.

Main event-happenings are expected to take no more than an hour. We will have a 30 minute receiving period, a short welcome address to attendees, followed by a fireworks extravaganza and wind-down. We hope to see you there!
