I can assure you that it isn't bugged. Didn't even hear that rumor. I've made three of 'em for people of the last week and a half, works fine for me and for them.
But now I have to put on my sad face because someone else Horde side can make it. Good bye outrageous crafting profit.

Finding it was my holiday pressie after almost no rares up through then!!!
FYI - the "bug" was (not sure if it's fixed) that it shows the second rider being carried by the drake's claws instead of on it's back. It works fine though, my guildie took me for a ride when I crafted his.
